So ive just put a 600w mh bulb in tent alongside a 250w cfl. I have 3 young mothers, 5 OG kush seedlings potted in rockwool, 1 A.M.S coco DWC and 10 or so cuttings in half litre starter pots in coco. Still not sure where im going with this grow but think i'll prob do 4 OG kush in DWC alongside the A.M.S running Advanced nutes PH Perfect and few additives. Then do maybe 9 plants in coco, 1 OG Kush, a few Trainwreck and a few A.M.S.

hey cult, just a quick q, how many litres of air do you shove in each pot?

i assume u mean the dwc buckets?
the pump im using is 70litres per min and that is split into 12 at the moment, so 1 stone per pot = 5.8litres per min. i fill the buckets to between 10-15litres water.
however u could run far less than that. this pump is designed to run 24 buckets.

yeah that be fine. are u running single buckets or rdwc? have u made them or are u using bought ones?

Ive just transplanted the 5 OG Kush to DWC and 1 Trainwreck. The seedlings are taking slowly, i think its because i have them in the tent with too much light but my propogater is full now so cant put back under the T5's. They'll be fine anyway. There is no liquid in the buckets yet. i will top feed until roots show through net pots. then stop the top feed and fill buckets.
Ive topped the Trainwreck. It'll be interesting to see whether their is a diff in growth rates between the coco and rockwool DWC. I doubt there will be a diff once the roots are exposed to the oxygen rich nutrient but we'll see.

I know little to nothing about Rockwool and/or Hydro But those are sexy roots anyway you look at them! Very nice sir.

yeah, i could have let it go longer in the starter pot but it wont make much difference in a few days wen the roots protrude the net pots. The rockwool will merely be there to hold plant in place.

Depends on what u classify as a fortune? the stuff in this room is just spare odds and ends left over from other grows but to set up a room as this it would cost prob in the region of £1200 ($2000) not including nutes. You could prob do it cheaper using 2nd hand equipment and not the full range of nutes i use.

I suppose for a 'professional' set up, £1200 probably isn't really too bad.
Reckon I've spent in the region of £700 on two tents and a few lights so in respect yours probs wasn't a fortune after all haha.

u using cooltubes? and if so what type? u really do need cooltubes in tents imo. if possible use a mh bulb for veg as well, makes such a difference on the node spacing. i find it keeps my plants shorter and bushier but when flip there are so many flower sites.

I know I would love to have a space that large, but one day maybe. I'll probably do a cooltube/LED panel in a tent setup when I move out of this damn travel trailer. It's not a small RV, but still too damn small to get a serious grow going, unless I was to gut and strip it, which my wife is not having!

Im forced to drive 60 miles to just water my pants lol. Wife wont let me grow at home and with the little kids and the way my community looks at it I cant blame her.
