First Time Grow 4x4x6 Tent With 600W LED

LOL. I can understand that. I use fox farms ocean forest with 30% perilite from seed to harvest and have had great luck. Weed might not be addictive but growing definitely is.
Hahaha exactly. Yeah I'm getting fox farms light warrior for seedling and ocean forest for late veg and flower. Definitely addicted to growing lol

New veg tent came in the mail! :) here's some pics of it.

So here's the seeds I'm waiting on at the moment.
I wanted an indica dominant strain so got strawberry kush (love fruity flavors), a sativa dominant strain so got super silver haze and then a hybrid with an even mix and got gold leaf since it was 50% off lol once they get here I'll start germination process with a 24 hour soak and straight into a saturated peat pellet. I have confidence in this grow now that I know the grow box works good and I have a veg tent. Once they pop above soil I'll keep them there till roots show, then I'll put them in the new tent in some solo cups. Just got 2 bags of ocean forest, 1 bag of clay pellets, and 1 bag of light warrior. I'm going to use the light warrior for the solo cups and I'll use a little ocean forest so it's a happy medium between light and hot soil. Once a harvest done I'll put those in the big tent to finish veg, and go into harvest. Kinda like a perpetual grow but I'm not going to go bigger than the set up I have. I think the max # of plants I'll grow at a time is like 6. Easy to manage lol

It's a 2 foot t5 grow light. Has two switches, one for the two outter light and one for the middle two lights. Which is cool and not causing any high temp issues. Here's some screen shots of the page on Amazon for it.

Update: For the big grow tent and the veg tent. First off, a week into flower and Joe's Dirt was determined to be male so chopped it down and disposed off accordingly. So left with three Carmelicious at day 7 of flower. Took a peek at the girls and snapped a picture.

And the Carmelicious seedling is doing well, working on the 5th set of leaves. I kinda....fucked up, was spraying lightly with azamax foliar spray since I saw a fungus gnat and dropped the Damn cup...but only top soil came out. So replaced topsoil and lightly watered with a small dose of great white mykos and she responded well and growth hasn't stopped so wasn't too stressful I guess. Also have two cuttings i had to take off one plant since it was from the bottom. Put one in a peat pellet, split the stem and made sure it went straight to water so no air bubbles formed in the stem. I don't have clone x so just seeing if they root. The other one is in rapid rooter plug.

New seeds haven't arrived yet, but got everything prepared for em. Rapid rooter plugs for germination, Light warrior for seedling, ocean forest for veg-flower. I may add amendments, anyone have any suggestions?

Soaked the seeds till all sunk to the bottom, a little under 24 hours and put them in rapid rooters that were soaked in 6.3 PH distilled water. Put them in a humidity dome in my little cfl grow box. I blocked the tops of the holes so the lights really just help with heating it to 78°F inside the dome and just used my IR thermometer and all the rapid rooters are also at 78°F. So far so good. I do have the grow box on a 20 hours on 4 hours off, once they all pop I'll leave the top on for a few days then take the top off. I'll transfer them to solo cups and to the veg tent in a few weeks or less. Depends on if all seeds pop, all should but we'll see.

Quick update, nothing has popped from the rapid rooters yet, didn't expect for a few days since I only soaked the seeds for 24 hours, I didn't wait for them to crack. I wanted that to happen in the rapid rooters so no chance of hurting the taproot trying to put it in the rapid rooter. The three Carmelicious in the big tent are doing nicely. Here's some pics!

The 4th carmelicious in the veg tent is working on it's 5th set of leaves. It's on week 4, day 27, but that's since it was put in a peat pellet after I germinated till the taproot came out. I was planning for 5 weeks before I put it in 'veg'. Here's a pic, I transferred into a 1 gallon a few days ago.

Yeah, so other than that it's just consisting of checking on the seedlings to see if anything popped and watching the temps of everything and try not killing anything lol

All but one popped, I know they're a little young but raproot coming out the bottle of all of em. So transferred to a solo cup with fox farms light warrior in it. 4 are in the grow box plus one that hasn't popped but should in the next 12 hours and one is in the veg tent. The three Carmelicious girls are really showing flowers and more and more hairs. Almost at week 3 of flower. The 4th carmelicious in the veg tent is yellowing, I'll start with half strength nutes and see how it responds.

So far so good :) hoping to see some increase of bud size over the next week and can't wait till they start getting a lil frosty.

So all seedlings are doing good, stretching a little but not much which is okay with me lol also got some Christmas Bud seeds that I soaked for 24 hours and all popped a small taproot that was barely poking out. So put those in rapid rooter plugs in a humidity dome in the veg tent. With those I'll do a mini SOG in that veg tent and I'll keep em small and flip em early.

So the buds are getting bigger and starting to see a lil bit of frostiness on them. Take a look.

Woot Woot! Seeing some more progress on the 3 carmelicious girls in the flower tent. Added some hoops to help position the branches, seems to work good. Next time in going to configure an actual scrog net. I think I can make one out of pvc pipe that fits over the shelves I converted into the stands.

Also the seedlings are doing alright in their solo cups after a week and a half since they were put in the rapid rooters, one of the gold leaf is a bit slow in growth but it should catch up later, if not I'll figure something out or throw it out.

Also the Carmelicious seedling was working on it's 6th pair of leaves and I topped it above the 5th node yesterday so should see growth on that by beginning of next week.

Well, that's it for today :)

Also I decided to grow some sugar snap peas in a cut down 2 liter bottle with holed in the bottom. For shits and giggles I just wanted to watch em grow in the veg tent and see the root structure grow. Which got me to thinking, it'd be cool if there were nursery/garden pots that were completely see thru on the sides so you can see the root growth progress. I know I know "light hurts roots, which is why it comes with a cover (plastic, Mylar, dense fabric, or whatever works) so all you gotta do is take off the cover and see your root structure. Also help determine pest problems that fester under the soil.....like those commie bastard fungus gnat larvae. Anyways, just a random stoned thought that came to me when I was transplanting the seedlings to solo cups. Time to go medicate :)
