First Time Grow 4x4x6 Tent With 600W LED

Went home at lunch and my package arrived. Loving this laser thermometer, so the temp at the plants is around 74.6 F° so I think my thermometer I have isn't 100% accurate since it's giving me 83 degrees about 4 inches above the plants.

Thanks! I appreciate it! So I've been trying to find a good answer for this, but I'm using a viparapectra 600w LED light panel, I've been seeing different light distance numbers. So yo curb possible light burn and excrssive heat in general at the plants, I raised the light to 30 inches above the top of the plants. Is that a good distance or too far?

Yeah I believe viparapectra recommends 3 feet from top of canopy. I would say that's a little over kill, I keep mine around 20 to 30 inches from the tallest top.

The newest sprouts are doing pretty good, 2 days since they first popped through the topsoil. And the biggest plant was planted 5 days earlier than the others but it seems to be doing just fine. I'm going to start slowly adding nutes next week or should I start now? I figured for the 3 carmelicious that are the younger plants I'll start next week or so at 1/4 the recommend nutes.

Here's some pics. Put em under a normal light so you can see them better.

Hey everyone, going to start introducing nutes to my plants, but not sure the frequency to use it. And do I ever water it with just plain water with no nutes? I have the fox farms trio, big bloom, tiger bloom and grow big.

Any wisdom on nutrients? I have the fox farm trio. Big bloom, tiger bloom and the other one lol

What soil are u using and how old are yer plants

It's black gold all purpose potting mix, my plants are 10-13 days. 3 are 10 days old and 1 is 13. Haven't introduced them to anything but soil and 6.0-6.2 PH water.

I'd be hesitant to add nutes yet
That soil has nutes I believe. I never added my fox farm nutes till like 3 weeks after I was in my final 5gal pot. 2 transplants before and no nutes
Don't rush, they will tell u when the need food

Yeah I wasn't sure since I see so much conflicting info out there.

I was going to wait till a few weeks when they start fanning out and really growing.

Nutes now could really mess them up

Be a little more patient
Hey man, just curious if this is something to be worried about or not. I searched every plant, even the one in the shitty soil that I don't really care about, and couldn't locate any bugs on or under the leaf. Used a microscope to check, even check the topsoil and got a sample from the bottom and didn't find

any pests in there. So not sure if its a deficiency or maybe I'm just being too overprotective and jumpy lol this was on one of the carmelicious plants leaves.

Hey man, im a newbie grower as well so take my advice with a grain of salt, but i wouldn't worry about the spots. One of my seedlings has the same and its growing just fine..

I have the same sized tent as you but and opposite problem with humidity and temp, its currently cold here at night and the humidity is about 20%.
I figured as much, I'll get worried if I see something crawling around haha

Here's an update: transplanted into some larger pots, decided not to go to a 5 gallon because carmelicious isn't supposed to really grow tall anyways, only like 2 1/2 feet max indoors and I'm probably going to do some LST to make them a little bushier than taller.

Added a small dehumidifier because of the monsoon season. I turn it on when it rains and for it's size because I placed it right there between all the pots it keeps it at about 60% when it's normally 70%. I'll invest in a bigger one for flowering when it needs to be lower.

Week 2 of veg.

Definitely seeing some growth with Joe's Dirt and the carmelicious are finally starting to speed up.

Definitely going to get different soil next time. This black gold stuff is good but caused gnat flies to start up, and with the bigger pots I water them every 4-5 days so I'm definitely not overwatering. So until my SNS organic pest control stuff gets here Tuesday I put up some sticky cards and so far it's gotten 10 of those little bastards.

Will update when there's some more growth.

Here's some new pics, had a fungus gnat issue but I think I got almost all of em. Don't see them wandering the tops anymore. Decided to start doing some low stress training now. And just noticed Joe's dirt is officially a female which is crazy luck since it was a seed from a bag of shitty weed lol I'm going to initiate flowering next week.
