If it's possible, you might find a way to tie the tops down. My plant stretched over two feet after switch. Now she grows only fractions of an inch each day.
I'm really glad you were able to get that all sorted in a weekend. I read a bit of advice that has helped me a lot. If you suspect anything abnormal, never ignore it. Always be a little paranoid and skeptical of your parameters, I guess. If you can manage a healthy level of worry, you actually prevent a lot of stress.
I can only imagine what kind of redwood forest will result, so I hope it doesn't grow consciousness and eat you.
I would love to see some mantis enjoying those plants.
