Hello everyone.
Going to start my second journal while only 1/4 way through my first one. Since I’m trying to get these plants bigger this time before going into flower tent.

So let’s go over the set up.
Tents- 60 inch by 60 flower tent and 32 inch by 32 inch veg tent.
Air flow - 1 6” AC infinity inline exhaust and 1 6” Vivosun inline pushing air in the flower tent. Then 3 oscillated fans in the tent. Also a hurricane wall mounted one coming. Little tent has 4 inch vivosun inline fan exhausting air as well as a 40” tower fan and 6 inch little turbo desk fan pushing air in.
humidity- Little cool mist humidifier for little tent. Then 70 pint dehumidifier for flower tent.
System- 4 plant fallponics hydro system from PA hydroponics. Tote DWC set up for veg. Net pots same size as fallponics for easy transition to 5 by 5 and fallponics set up. Also have a drip system for veg tote to really speed up root growth.
Nutrients - jacks tap water nutrients schedule. Hydroguard. Root magic from blue planet for early stage
Seeds/strain- Green Crack and ChemDawg from I love growing marijuana seed bank.
Lighting- Mars hydro ts1000 for veg and medic grow Fold 8 bar LED light for flower. This light pretty much fills up the whole 5 by 5 nicely compared to my previous set up.
water- my tap water is pretty hard at 140 ppm starting off and always give me a little trouble with signs of deficiency so I am seriously considering an RO system.
Ph and TDS meter- both are blue lab pens calibrated regularly.
target PH- will be 6.2 for veg and 5.8 for flower. Standard stuff for hydro.
Target PPM- using the 500 scale as jack’s schedule shows, I am sticking around 1000ppm for veg and flower.

so that is my setup. What do you think? Currently I am running critical mass and LSD from 420 in this setup but excited to get these seeds in there in bout 7-8 weeks. Planning to get some bigger plants from veg.
I just put the seeds into paper towels after soaking for 24 hrs in distilled water. Most of them cracked already. Hope to update this pretty often but you know how life can be. Especially with a girlfriend. But I love my life and wouldn’t change it. Hope you guys will follow along.

Thanks for reading.

So you can support heavy flowers. They work okay. The idea is to pull until you need. Then the button locks the string. Have found a couple of time it pulls the bud if the button comes loose and tries to reel in. And have broke one pressing button too hard. Not the best. But they work.

Quick update,
The chemdawgs are germinating so fast. 2 inch tap root in 48hr or less. Already have all three in cubes and all three have their seedling leafs out and out 2 inches tall.
The green crack is not as good however. Only one in the cubes in the back so far as others didn’t have long enough tap root.

Hello everyone.
I had some issues with my aeroponic bucket pump. It kept not wanted to pump when it should have. So had to fight that a few days while I ordered a new pump. Works great now. But def slowed their initial growth. This is okay however as I was thinking they were going to get too big for my liking in the next 6 weeks that they will be in there vegging. Green is green crack and orange is ChemDawg. Humidifier is set to 60 in there with vapor going right over the little ones. Let me know of any thoughts or questions you have.

Hello. Just put these girls into there 2nd to last home. 27 gallon tote with drip line to really get the roots developed. They will be in this tote with 1-2 more water changes before they go into the RDWC system when the LSD and Critical mass strains finish up in there. They are coming along great tho. Left two are green crack. Right is the chem dawg. Hoping the roots done intertwine too much in the next few weeks. We shall see. ‍Jacks tap nutes are at 930 ppm with 6.2 ph. Starting off lil lower than recommended 1000 ppm.

Been a couple of weeks since I updated this guy. They are vegging along nicely. With about 3 weeks left of vegging before going into the 5 by 5. As you can see, I will have to do a little root surgery once I do get to the point of needing to put them into the fallponics system. Thinking next time I may set up a small recirculating system with 5 buckets to keep the roots all separate but still in same water. Def seems possible. Lots of possibilities and I can’t wait to see how they turn out. I also really lollipoped a couple of them today already as I’m only trying to have 8-10 main branches per plant. As I have kind of a larf problem with my current flowers… Can kind of see the before and after of lollipoping on the two pics below. Other than the root thing, these girls are loving the jacks nutrients. Kind of warm in the tent, but think the drip system on for 15 off for 30 is a good set up and the roots look happy too even at higher than I like temp. Water chiller is kind of heating up this tent. Gonna move the water chiller out the room when I put these girls in the flower tent. I’m thinking on it. Will keep y’all updated.

Thanks for reading my ramble. Stay tuned for more. ✌

Well these guys are really taking off. They take up the majority of my 32 by 32 inch tent. Really need to get them in the 5 by 5 soon so I can get them flipped to flower. Starting to get concerned, but will just be a lot of bending and super cropping to get them where I need them in the new tent. Height is a factor. Hopefully it all works out though. Can’t do anything until I get this current flowering round done though. I topped a few of the tallest stems in here to slow them down a little. About to start my pure water flush on the flowering girls today. So those should be coming down this coming weekend. Hope to get these in the flower tent by this time next week. But can see it being little longer with the clean up process im going to undertake with my new RDWC system. All learning and fun when you enjoy doing something. Thanks for reading.
Happy growing!

Well the girls are pretty much filling up the whole 32 by 32 tent. Like they are 8-10 inches from the top of the 63 inch tent. So once they go into the 5 by 5, I’m going to have to do some serious pruning and LST. Will likely super crop some too.

Anyone have other suggestions to maintain lower height?

I def learned my lesson and will not give them so much time to veg. But this should be a good round. Plan to spend all day tomorrow cleaning out the RDWC system and get these girls in there. So hopefully they are about 24-30 hours from being in the 5 by 5. Going to be a long day tomorrow. But will be worth it. The girls are showing some stress due to cramped conditions and close to light. I turned the light down a little to try to slow them also. They also have not had a water change since going into this big tote about 3-4 weeks ago. Just added full strength nutrient water and tap water to balance it out to 900-1000 PPM. Ph has held steady at 6-6.2. so that is nice.
Thanks for reading. Ready to see these into the flower stretch next update. ✌

Well they made it into the big tent. Took my other girls down and got this ones in. It was kind of a rough transplant due to the roots being really tangled, but the really did not show much signs of stress once they were all settled for 12 hours or more. But they are in flower now. Kind of scared for the flower stretch, but I’m going to do all I can to keep it under control. These are def going to be my biggest indoor yet. But we all have to learn somehow. I will make it work one way or another. They are in jacks flower nutrients for the first couple weeks. Then will be back to jacks tap nutrients for most the time. Until last 1-2 weeks where we’ll use jacks “finsh” nutrient. I like jacks due to the ease of use and results so far. The harvest and transplant of these girls all took place in the same day since I only had that day off. It was a long day. Also got a way to get my chiller out of the room to lower the temps. But I made it through the day. I will keep you all updated.

Thanks for reading. ✌

They have grown a lot in last couple weeks. Life has been busy. Sad news though, my biggest green crack plant was a hermaphrodite. So that one was chopped down. Now have 3 plants taking up most of the entire tent. Still expecting a good harvest even with only 3 plants. Got the top off bucket keeping the water good for 2-3 days. So that is nice. 3 plants will drink less than 4. So that will be nice. Plan to get roots out next water change and replace with basket of just hydroton to keep the light out. They still Alice for now. Even without anything but stalks. They just starting to get hairy. Excited to see how this round does. Hermie showed on the last pic. First pics are only the 3 remaining ones all spread out.

So they are coming into flower pretty fast and hard. Really looking good and especially good for only being 3 plants. Kind of glad at this point as I feel they could have been really big and likely too tall and cluttered if the one plant was not taken out due to herming.
They are looking great and I couldn’t be more pleased with my new set up as the chilled water is now going in directly in front of the water fall intake. So the newly chilled water goes right to the top of the roots evenly. As shown in my set up post. Before I did the tube into res with a bulkhead, it was hard to keep the tube right in-front of the waterfall intake as I have it set now. Since I used to just stick the pump into one side of the res and the chiller outtake pipe kind of infront of the water fall intake.

Now, (can’t see in pic) we have the chiller intake pump on the opposite side of the 3 inch pvc return pipe outside the reservoir tank. That sucks the water that comes in from the plants inside the tent. In theory, sucking in the hottest water that recirculated from the girls at the lower end of their buckets. You can also kind of see the water fall intake pump up against the tent. It’s black also. Same kind as the chiller intake pump. I also have the chiller outside the room hence the holes in the walls. This keeps it a lot cooler in there already.
I have spread them out to fill up most of the tent with only 3 plants and they will be bigger than last round. So I am predicting higher yeilds with only 3 plants vs my 4 last time. Excited to smell already and eventually try these new strains. Getting quite the number of strains grown under my belt. Many more to come after I use up these seeds. Lol
I have the 70 pint dehumidifier set at 45 and going into a 5 gallon bucket. Currently filling up with 1-1.25 gallons per day. With more to come for sure. Changing water tomorrow as ppms are starting to stay in the 800 even with full strength added. Usually fill my 5 gallon top off tank with plain water then full nutrient water alternately. Currently filling every 2-3 days.

Jack nutrients are really doing well with this stuff. Will be starting next round of seeds and journal with that pretty soon. Hope you guys follow along. Feel free to ask or criticize anything. Need that tough love. Lol. If ya read this far. Thank you. Take care ✌
