Hydroponic dwc (deep water culture) setup?

Hello everyone!

Let's just dive right in!

I want to build a hydroponic deep water culture system with timers that regulate 7-10 day nutes change, as well as a 7-10 day flush. Is this a good idea first and foremost?

I want to use 4/3.5 gallon buckets with 3 inch net pots.
Top fed maybe?

How would i go about setting this up?
I'm talking all the way down to air stones, pumps, etc.

Not sure what your after here... you want automated REZ changes? I guess its possible but it would be better/easier to just have two reservoirs and when it comes day 7-10 when you want to change your REZ, you just pull the hardware out of one and drop it in the second one. Then you have 7-10 days to make the new REZ perfect
