Congrats on your total yield J, I bet you did better than you expected. Looking foward to checking you out in Oct. I think I'm going to try harvesting when triches are straight up cloudy, never tried that, always waited till amber was at least 70%.

Check this out...

The triches weren't even 100% cloudy, but maybe 50% clear/cloudy. They got cloudier during the drying process in the food dehydrator. I jest not.

It's almost like the Nesco accelerated the drying and curing process. Even the medical effect had changed from the uplifting energetic to the narcotic. This harvest has been full of surprises.

Today I received the Vapir One 5.0. I have gone through a few vaporizers but have only been happy with the Iolite. The Vapor Genie I really didn't care for. The MFLB started out well then disappointed--So much so, I haven't even bothered to mail it back for the free replacement. The Arizer kind of sucked all the way around. That was sent back for a full refund because it BROKE.

I like the Iolite. I thought I'd misplaced it for good so ordered the maligned Vapir. I will try both direct and balloon (my first) and advise. So many start well...I will report how this one finishes as well.

I think the best answer is that the Iolite is good enough. When I though it lost, I ordered the Vapir and not just another Iolite. I was intrigued by the forced air component because I don't like pulling. My lungs aren't great ven though I do regular cardio and don't smoke.

That leads to the balloon system, which I'm decidedly neutral on for at least a week.

So far, the disk/drive system works as a better loading system. I find loading the Iolite an unnecessary PITA Since the doggone thing isn't exactly portable, a disk storage system should have been built in.

Yeah ive heard mixed reviews on it, ive heard theres some kinda problem with the spring under the button and that you have to be gentle with it which sux. I suppose when you look between the iolite and the volcano its all about how much you wanna spend and how often you use it. Thanks ror the info man

My Vapir Air One 5.0 Vape Report

Easy to use.

Satisfying first bag of vapor. The second bag from the same disk was also good. I really like the disk drive concept so far. It also seems easier to maintain than the Iolite.

It is as noisy as a handvac.

The two new sprouts are now transplanted into dirt and moved into the flower tent until my new daylight CFL equipment arrives. The old veg tent has been cleaned and prepped. I am thinking MH for fall winter veg and CFL for the sping/summer. Always HPS for flowering in the tent grows.

I also dropped a WhWi into some soil for all the good it would do me.

I should be getting a clone soon for the Phototron Pro. I will post pictures when I get Internet back, but for now I have two air stones covered by those clay pellets. I have the aerating ring layered between those pellets and sopping peat moss. Finally, I will drop the new gal right in the middle. The Feed-a-tron 2 will make sure there's enough water and nutes at the bottom to give the roots something to root for.

Is there anything about this approach that won't work well?

I see no other way than to order a custom CFL hood from Phototron. While I did rig something up that would work, it looked tacky. Like a bumper sticker on a bimmer.

I have to meet with my doctor tomorrow to review surprising lab results. It looks like I am vitamin D deficient and hypoglycemic. Is this the result of 9 months of medicine?

I lose 36 pounds and my systolic and diastolic drop by 13 and 25 points to 117/67 I have developed and maintained a less is more approach to life. 9 months of consistent cardio workouts. Is this my reward? Adult rickets and low blood sugar?

When I am not medicated, and I cannot while working, the pain and stiffness are nearly unbearable. I wake ten times a night due to intense pain in my hands. Is the cannabis really helping me? At 23'years of age I remember telling my roommate that weed helped relieve the pain after basketball. He said, "No, the pain is still there but you just don't give a shit. I guess, what difference does it make?

All of my numbers are good green, except but for a couple yellows. I need to be super fortified on Vitamin D for well, everything. I need to be super fortified on Niacin (B3) to bring up my HDLs. I also need to watch my simple sugar intake. Great news!

The scientific studies that show no link between cannabis use and hypoglycemia were substantiated in at least my case. In fact, I was a borderline diabetic risk.

That's good but there's more to it than that. The reason my numbers were so good is because I took action to become legal and then figure out the medicine. The medicine obviously helped my condition, and it also became my casus belli for abandoning alcohol. THAT led me to maintain my regular workout routine, eat healthier, and try to consume much less of the world around me.

I'll say it to anyone if asked. Cannabis has saved my life. When Cannabis is allowed to be free, it doesn't cause any problems. It solves them.

How do we bang it into their THICK FUCKING SKULLS?!

Both new seedlings were lying on the soil this morning. Of course I added some nutrified water.

Vapir One 5.0 works and is worth every penny I paid for it--but not a penny more. For after work medication, with both items in arms reach...I reached for my Iolite. I will keep the Vapir if only to have one in the basement. I give it a 6 4 24 rating.

The marinol is good for daytime relief and at 2.5, not really enjoyable. I give it an 9 for importance--for traveling and medicating in socially inappropriate places.

I give it a 6 for quality for a final score of 54.

Today, I had both my best and worst drug reactions ever. The best was a sampling of my 16 day cured Wonder Woman. WOW! What a trip. There was nothing subtle about her. I would't drive a vehicle on this strain. One definitely loses one's presence of mind. Uh, what was my point?

Oh, yeah.

The worst reaction was from a doctor recommended legal over the counter vitamin....niacin. Yes, I have experienced my first niacin flush. Ick. After the burn, I scratched over every square centimeter of skin like I was a side character in A Scanner Darkly.

I like the new 420 magazine logo.

It is more mature.

I will terminate this grow log when Michael's nd Taylor's vape report are turned in, and start a new one for the two G13 Haze clones.

The two bag seed seedlings don't look viable at all. No worries. After what I saw Michael and Taylor survive and then flower, I expect the two seedlings will recover. Life breaks through.

It makes sense that the medicine I grew is stronger and better than the medicine I have been getting through the various clubs and dispensaries, right?
