Landrace Durban Poison Outdoor Grow

Things seem to have settled down with the big lady. Whew. Some pics:
First the Monster Crop lady. She is pushing hard and already smelling delicious. Tried to get a pic of the double reveg. If you zoom in you can see the woody branches from the first time and further up the green new stuff from the second veg. I'll be interested to see what type of buds she produces. I recon the nodes are tighter as a result of the double reveg but I'll only know once the experiment is done.
Second set of pics Is the big Durban lady enjoying the view of table mountain.peace

Update from this morning. First pics are the big lady. Doing well but really hungry for N still. I can still see new growth daily so she is stretching hard. The bud sites look messy ( if that makes sense) still early I know but they kind of look unorganized. Anyways enjoy

And the double monster crop lady doing her thing... if I'm really honest with myself I would have preferred to get her back to veg a month earlier. Not much I can do now but there should be a semi decent spread of buds to harvest although I'm leaving towards a much smaller harvest compared to previous years.

Hello mr.Rugged nitrosol is a bugger if you heavy handed with it as I've learnt the hard way turned a girl crispy like simba chips....lol

Your monster crops look very similiar to mine and she is spouting so much fluffy sites I don't quiet no where or how to trim them as its all over the place right now...

But I'm loving the views of table mountain in the background actually looks like you are close to the base somewhere round there. I've only been to Capetown once many years ago but remember it like it was yesterday sitting on the beach eating snoek off the braai....

Hey Smeegs.
Who can forget eating fresh snoek on the beach. Wonderful.
I am pretty close to the Mountain. Bit of a walk but it's possible i guess.
Agree regarding the nitrosol. She was yellowing up a bit so I went a little heavy (full strength) somehow she bounced back within a day. She is still looking like she wants more though so today she will get a half strength or otherwise some seagro.
Think the Monster Crop will Not be getting much more nitrogen and will be switching to some flowering nutes soon.
Have some banana skin and egg shell tea fermenting up ato storm so might just dilute that 1 to 5 and see how she responds. It's smelling like someone threw up lol.
I was lazy with her by not cleaning her up earlier now there are bud sites everywhere making the lower part of the branch bushy. They are developing well enough so I recon I won't cut them. If they don't produce much I'll use for oil or hash. Looks like some of them might just produce some finger sized buds. Fingers crossed.
She is super potent so even small bugs will be welcome. Have you got a pic of what yours is doing? I'm interested to see it.
Sweet have a rocking day

Thanks stoneotter.
They are very well tendered. I'm currently not working so I have a lot of time on my hands. Glad you are getting some sun. It's been pretty hot the last week's but last two days have been overcast mornings and then full sun. Have a great day.

Haha, the sun I'm getting is in your pics. It's -12C here today.

Hahaha. Ok ok. That was kak funny . I'll be sure to post some sunny pics with updates then. I couldn't live anywhere where it's so cold and grey so much. Although winter here can suck it's not nearly that cold. Stay warm then

Thanks stoneotter.

Lucky mr.Rugged we've had almost 3 weeks of solid rain....

@stoneotter i lived in Vermont for a couple years and the winters were bitterly cold some years as I spent winters bar tending on ski resorts...... don't think us South Africans were built for your winters.....lol

Wow you're well traveled Smeegs. Was it Jay Peak or Burke Mountain by any chance?

Afternoon mr.Rugged I snapped a pic or 2 but got clumsy hands with the wind and trying to hold the beach same time...lol

The strain is called grannys balls ( local kzn strain ) she's a sativa and the smoke was very good and energetic and she has a very skunky/lemon odor which comes across nicely...

She's very bushy/fluffy and hundreds of these little puffy bud sites leading off of every cm of the main branch, there isn't any actual branches in there apart from the main arms which I lollipopped ages ago...lol

I've been to Jay Peak and Stowe mainly, worked at Killington and Snowbird in Utah a season each but my heart fell in love with Bolton Valley and spent most of my winters there....haha

I spent every summer at Basin Harbor on Lake Champlain which also I fell head over heels in love and worked a season at Admirals Cove in Jupiter Florida....

You experienced some of the nicest places we have here. Also you got to see the difference in the land and culture we have here. Nice. You were a regular rolling stone friend. Cheers!

Hopefully they will fill out. My stems are nowhere near as thick as last year's but she still has a few weeks stretch so maybe something will happen. I'm thinking like yours mine will have a few decent colas and lots and lots of smaller nuggets types. Let's hope so. Your garden looks great by the way. Love plants growing outside in the African sun. Good vibes
