Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by my grow journal. I've done a couple of these in the past and have enjoyed the process so here I am back at it again with some new beans! Since my last journal quite a bit has happened. I had another successful season growing outside ( I will post pics from that as this goes on if anyone wants to see, I had a blast and learned a lot more about my new grow area since moving). I have a new grow room that I built but am currently just running tents inside of it because its cheaper on the electricity bill. Since I just grow for personal use I decided that a 20x7 room was just to expensive to run! LOL....Anyway here is all the good information on this grow!

What strain is it? Wedding Crasher by Symbiotic Genetics
Is it Indica, Sativa or Hybrid? Hybrid, Wedding Cake x Purple Punch F2
What percentages? Not sure
Is it in Veg or Flower stage? I just put 10 seeds in Rapid Rooters for Germination
Indoor or outdoor? Indoor
Soil or Hydro? Soil
If soil... what is in your mix? Roots Organic mixed with Happy Frog 2:1 with some extra Perlite
If soil... What size pot? They will be in 3-5 gallon bags, not sure which yet...depends on how long I veg
Size of light? (2) Mars Hydro 960w Reflector series
Temp of Room/cab? 50-75 degrees
RH of Room/cab? 25-45%
PH of media or res? I PH anywhere between 6.3-6.8
Any Pests ? Not ATM
How often are you watering? Usually 2-3 times a week
Type and strength of ferts used? I use the Biobizz lineup : Fish Mix, Top Max, Bloom. I also use Mycorrhizae and General Hydropics Floralicious Plus. I will make tea's with Dr. Earth products and molasses as well throughout.

I will post some pics later tonight of what I have so far, thank you for dropping in. Please feel free to ask me anything. I hope you enjoy this journal it should be a real fun ride!

Well if it’s pics my good friend @InTheShed wants...it’s pics he shall receive! Let’s start with the last indoor grow which I chose the plants I was going to put outside this year! Below are 6 plants scrogged down the side of the shed. Each plant had about 30 inches long x 30 inches wide. Strains where Forbidden Fruit, Zkittles, Blackberry Fire, Headband, Oil Spill, Skywalker OG. Of those I decided I was going to grow the forbidden fruit, blackberry fire, and headband outside this year.

Here is how they turned out in the yard this summer. I think the fires provided one of the earliest harvests I’ve ever had outside. I was completely done by the second week of Croptober!

Damn LED! Plants look amazing. Did you line that entire room in aluminum??? Are you done growing monsters outside?

No I ended up using this stuff called Radiant Barrier Plywood. Its used in attics and stuff to keep things cooler. It has a foil side already on it and isn't much more expensive than the standard 4x8 sheet of plywood.

Another huge outdoor grow :thumb:. I was hoping for that but surprised there's no razor wire ;). Sorry you didn't post a journal for that. I would've liked to follow along. Did you trench and drench again?

I didnt need the razor wire this year, I learned from my mistake and didnt let it happen again. Yea Im sorry i didnt post a journal either, it would have been a fun one. I ended up talking to an old guy who led me to using a drip irrigation for my plants this year. No more digging and redigging trenches, no more having to clear out the weeds growing from the excess water. I used a single drip on each stem and just adjusted the flow rate and length over the course of the grow. I could not believe how automated it all became...

What’s up LED! Wedding Crasher! Wow that sounds amazing and should be a frosty fuel show !

Everything is looking good and ready to go! Nice set-up! Quick question for you? You said that you planted 10 seeds into rapid rooters, correct? Do you ever have problems with these? Do you put the seed in point up? Or point down? Or never really paid any attention to it? Just curious because I've been wanting to try it this way for a while now, but honestly, im a lil chicken! " lol! Anyways, glad im taggin along. You never know when an old dog might learn a new trick!
Keep up the good work!

Hey Big Sparks, glad to have ya. Those are all great questions and to be honest I never really thought about it. When If first decided to start growing I found a website called growweedeasy.com. The information is put up there by a grower with the name nebula haze and she has tons of really great information on just about everything. That is how she starts her seeds for both soil and hydroponic applications. Since my first grow I’ve always started my seeds in rapid rooters. I always soak my seeds for about 6-8 hours in water then directly in the rioters they go. I put them with pointy end straight down and the hinge end pointed up. I take a small amount off the rapid rooter at the bottom to cover the hole once I place the seeds inside. Usually between 3-5 days I have seeds sprouting. I put them in there on Sunday night and I already have three introducing themsleves to the world! All I can say is don’t be afraid to try new things! It’s the easiest method for starting seeds I’ve found, once they are inside just be patient and know it’s going to work out! Any other questions please feel free. I can get into more depth if you want! Thanks for stopping by!

Wow bro beautiful plants!! Wedding Crasher sounds like an amazing cross, I will make sure to check in on this one often.
I’m super excited about it also! These are two strains I’ve been wanting for a while all wrapped in one!

That sounds amazing dutch! I’m ready for some skunky purple cake myself. This is going to be a mini pheno hunt. I started a couple of my seeds also!

Ok 11/13/2018! I soaked my seeds on Sunday 11/11/18 and so far I have 5 that have popped up to say hello! (So im 50% so far on germination after two days!) I’ve been asked several times why I start my seeds in rapid rooters, It’s just what I’ve always done. I’ve tried the paper towel, jiffy pellets, soil, Rockwool. Even side by side with the rapid rooters and have always had better luck with the rapid rooter method. I’d like to introduce you the first ones to say hello
