UPDATE: 34 DAYS IN FLOWER
I watered the girls last night with 2 gallons. A half gallon a piece. I am still seeing yellowing of the leafs. Starting from the bottom and headed toward the top. So Im guessing its a N Def. Only problem is I started last Sunday giving Grow. Now granted Sundays mix only had 1 tsp of grow in each gallon. And then Wednesday, I gave 1 1/2 tsp of grow. But last night I am still seeing more yellowing. Fridays are usually a plain water day with just some Mammoth P Terpenez and CalMag. But I they were still yellowing so I added some grow. I hate doing that as I didnt let it bubble. But your suppose to be able to use straight out of the bottle. So my mix last night went like this. I made 2 gallons.
1/2tsp MAMMOTH P
1/2tsp CALMAG
1/2tsp TERPENEZ
2tsp GROW
Its my own fault really. I let other people ( not directly. Thru reading and research. Although I have had several in forums tell me) tell me to stop using N all together after the switch. But I believe, and have read in a couple spots. That I should keep applying Grow Full Strength thru stretch, (first 3 weeks of flower) then lower to half or 1/3rd strength for the rest of the 1st half of flower. So for another week or 2. Then go with No N. Thats what I am going to try next grow. My first grow I gave Grow all the way to week 6 or 7 of flower. As I was going by LightAddicts schedule he had posted when he compared Nutes. (Which Earth Juice won by the way
) Anyway. It could be these girls are just N hungry too. IDK. I dont want to give them too much N but I also dont want to lose my leafs.
......I feel growth has slowed down. I dont feel the buds have grown that much in the last week or so. Lack of N??? IDK Should I up the bloom?? IDK lol I know they smell AMAZING. So nasty. It hangs on me for a bit after I leave.

We are about to head into week 9. She still has alot of white hairs. I havent checked the Trichomes yet. I think the foxtailing come from a constant low RH. That or 90F temps. Which I have managed to get down. Im really just hoping to get solid nugs. My last grow was very airy. And that is what I am now smoking. I miss my dense thick nugs.

Thank you for stopping bye. I try to put as much info as I can in these for 1st time growers. So hopefully they dont make the same mistakes I do, and dont have to rack their trying to figure out something. But I will admit its hard sometimes when your journal is as empty as mine. But as I have said before. If nothing else. This journal helps me keep track of my grow without having to actually have a journal. (which I have been considering) But this seems to be about right. I can keep my pictures here and keep track of what week im in. LOL I forget every week. ..As far as those spots. It could be P. I was actually thinking it was a C def. Although those big purple spots do look like a P def. But there is only a leaf or 2 with those. Most the others have little brown spots. And mainly on the 1 plant. I have upped their Cal to a tsp and a half. Last 2 grows I have been giving about 1tsp per watering/feeding. This grow, because I thought they were doing ok and I was over doing it. I was only giving 1/2tsp. But it could also be a ph thing. As my air pumps are slowing down. And arent putting out the air they did when I bought them. I bought a new one and am just waiting for it in the mail. Anyway. Thanks again for popping by. I hope you stick around. What kind of grow are you planning? Lights? tent? plan? Journal?

I upped the bloom and calmag. Hopefully that will solve my problems. I still added grow. Not really sure on that one but I gave my first grow N all the way up to like week 6 or 7. And I ended up with a great result. Hopefully this will stop the yellowing for now. I will pull back to 1 tsp of grow after Sunday. Then will pull it all together shortly after that. I just dont want all my leafs turning yellow this early.
My air pumps have slowed down and I dont feel they are doing the job. And I can tell the difference. So anyone that is mixing and feeding without Bubbling. I strongly encourage you to try it. I believe you will also see the difference. Anyway. I bought this.
Now Im just waiting for it in the mail. Idk if its over kill but it comes with the splitter and valves so I can always turn it down a little. I think though that the more o2 the better.
So anyway, thats where Im at. Here are some pictures from last night.

I'm definitely sticking around. Learned so much so far. I'm still learning the nute schedule, quantity, quality, etc.
I plan to have a 2-3 area setup within the 10.7x10.7x7' tent I purchased. With the flowering area being the largest.
Planning a DIY ebb and flow 6 bucket System with air stones in each, plus controller and res for the initial veg and flowering. Then build the 2nd area for 6 clones to veg while the first 6 flower.
Legally we can only grow 12 plants, with only 6 in flower at all times.
So many options!
The ladies look gorgeous, great job!
I'll start a grow journal once I purchase the gear.

Nothing else to add really. I could be wrong but it looks as if the problems have stopped. Or at least slowed down. Like I said tho. I could be wrong. But I think the extra calmag done the trick. I sometimes forget that for some reason, plants under LED needs more CalMag than others.

Im thinking of starting my flush. Even tho I still see alot of white hairs. And I dont want to harvest early. But I damn sure dont want to harvest late and end up with sleep meds. So I think I will start my flush. And maybe harvest at week 11. Which still might be too long. IDK, But Iv read in a few different places that most strains actually need about 10-12 weeks. Even tho the breeders say 8-10 weeks. I honestly have no clue. And checking trichomes can be tricky. You may look today and see 50 percent amber. And then look in a couple days and most be clear and cloudy again. Anyway. If you have any thoughts, I would love to hear them. Until next time.

Nice the call on calmag was right, it looks like they could use some. I noted that the problems were more profound in the middle of canopy, where the light is most intense. Or is it looking that only on the picture? Keep it up, those girls are very nice. I think some extra nitrogen should help too. But that depends how long are they from harvest. Cheers and enjoy life!

lol no not a 3 thankfully. Im about an 11. It was the only thing I could hold up for comparison honestly. I had some scissors but they werent full size so no way to tell there. No lighter in my pocket or any cans laying around. But everyone has a foot. Well most everyone. Sorry to all the feetless out there.

I honestly was expecting fatter buds all the way down. Or at least part way down. Dont get me wrong, there are some nice colas in there. But no bigger than what I was getting scrogging. Im guessing as of right now. Scrogging will produce more. Might not for everyone. But for my setup. It seems to be the case. Of course, I still have weeks to go. And they might fatten up somewhat. But nothing like I seen in others grow. But. It could be the strains, it could be me. This is only my 3rd indoor grow. Im still trying to figure things out. Im also wondering if I used Fox Farms, or some other synthetic fert. Maybe things would grow a bit easier and better. Seems pretty simple. Follow the chart and keep water phed. Also might give it a stronger taste/smell. IDK This is just me thinking out loud. Organic people want to say that it taste better and smokes better. I dont have a comparison So IDK. But I dont feel it taste better myself. Maybe I shouldnt flush them. That way I get all that organic taste I keep hearing so much about.
On the light front. I have went back and forth with MARS HYDRO and am waiting to hear back. The warranty is garbage . I will have to pay $100 to get it fix. And you all can go look thru my 3 journals and see how long Iv used it before It tore up. Basically 2 grows and it tore up. I paid around $400 for the light, from their site. And now they want me to pay $100 to fix it. AFTER 2 GROWS!!!! An average of that leads me buying a new $400 light about every 3 ...3 and a half years. But not actually getting a new light. Just this same light with new parts in it. I mean I guess Im glad I can get it fixed. (or at least I hope I can. I have heard and read some stories) But I dont have 100 dollars to spend every year on a freaking light. And what really chaps my arse, is I was planning on buying some more lights from there. But theres no way I can. Its just not the smart move. So now I have to search the inter net again. Research. And start eliminating the BS. Which isnt easy to do. They all claim to be the best. I read reviews but dont trust most of them. Iv got it narrowed down to a few. But am still looking. Theres just no way I think I can build one. Although I am thinking of going COB. Searching for an LED light is a disaster by the way. JEEEZ.....They are really expensive. So buying the wrong one is that much more painful. Theres no way I can justify to myself buying a 1500 dollar light. Which is prolly what a person needs to do. I mean If I new for certain it was a great light and would last 5 years or more. Maybe. But even then. Its just too much money for this ole poor boy.

Im guessing as of right now. Scrogging will produce more. Might not for everyone. But for my setup. It seems to be the case. Of course, I still have weeks to go. And they might fatten up somewhat. But nothing like I seen in others grow. But. It could be the strains, it could be me. This is only my 3rd indoor grow. Im still trying to figure things out. Im also wondering if I used Fox Farms, or some other synthetic fert. Maybe things would grow a bit easier and better. Seems pretty simple. Follow the chart and keep water phed. Also might give it a stronger taste/smell. IDK This is just me thinking out loud. Organic people want to say that it taste better and smokes better. I dont have a comparison So IDK. But I dont feel it taste better myself. Maybe I shouldnt flush them. That way I get all that organic taste I keep hearing so much about.
On the light front. I have went back and forth with MARS HYDRO and am waiting to hear back. The warranty is garbage . I will have to pay $100 to get it fix. And you all can go look thru my 3 journals and see how long Iv used it before It tore up. Basically 2 grows and it tore up. I paid around $400 for the light, from their site. And now they want me to pay $100 to fix it. AFTER 2 GROWS!!!! An average of that leads me buying a new $400 light about every 3 ...3 and a half years. But not actually getting a new light. Just this same light with new parts in it. I mean I guess Im glad I can get it fixed. (or at least I hope I can. I have heard and read some stories) But I dont have 100 dollars to spend every year on a freaking light. And what really chaps my arse, is I was planning on buying some more lights from there. But theres no way I can. Its just not the smart move. So now I have to search the inter net again. Research. And start eliminating the BS. Which isnt easy to do. They all claim to be the best. I read reviews but dont trust most of them. Iv got it narrowed down to a few. But am still looking. Theres just no way I think I can build one. Although I am thinking of going COB. Searching for an LED light is a disaster by the way. JEEEZ.....They are really expensive. So buying the wrong one is that much more painful. Theres no way I can justify to myself buying a 1500 dollar light. Which is prolly what a person needs to do. I mean If I new for certain it was a great light and would last 5 years or more. Maybe. But even then. Its just too much money for this ole poor boy.

Anyone know anything about California lights. Specifically the California Lightworks Solarstorm 440-watt LED with UVB. Its the one Im really looking at. But It only covers a 3x3. And my tent is 3.3x3.3 Not sure it that 3 inches will make a big difference but it probably will. The next option from that is 1700 dollars. OUCH!! Might be worth it tho. IDK. Its US based and comes with a 5 year warranty. Anyone know anything about them??
Also looking at Black Dog PhytoMax which seems to be based in CO. But they are extremely high as well. Anyone know about them??
