Manifolding LSD & Heavyweight Fruit Punch LED Organic

Re: Manifolding LSD & Heavyweight Fruit Punch LED Organic

Thanks. I dont have anything to compare it to so idk but im happy with it so far. I dont worry about ph and have been fine
I was interested in Advanced Nutrients Perfect PH due to my lack of experience and thought worrying less about PH fluctuation would be beneficial. Glad to hear you don't have PH issues with Earth Juice. :)

Ive used advanced nutrients for awhile now and really like their products.

Keep em frosty ya'll
I'm torn. I want AN, but looking at my options before deciding. Although I'll need to act fast...

UPDATE: 61 DAYS IN FLOWER.

Gave them 3 gallons of water with 1/4tsp of MAMMOTH P. I would have gave them some TERPENEZ but im out.
LSD 1...the one in the front left. I feel she is done done. Her hairs are about 90 percent red. I dont want her to go past her prime. If she isnt already. So I am going to chop her today. Shes only had about a week of flushing but I dont really want sleep meds. As for the rest, they are done also. But I feel can make it thru the flush. I have a usb microscope but its such a pain in the ass I dont use it anymore. I just assume they are going thru a 11 week flower cycle and will adapt accordingly. I need to get me a lupe. Anyway. Here are some pics from last night. They are looking pretty nice.

I dropped the temp a little for the last couple weeks. I also change my timer to go off at 7:30am instead of 8. Giving it more darkness and less light. I did that Sunday. This sunday I will drop it to 7 AM giving it 11/13.

I think thats about it. Im still debating on lights. I am really thinking about a perfect sun goliath. Or maybe 2 500s. But hate that they are so heavy and new. No one seems to know how well these lights last. I could always just buy another mars and save money. I could buy 3 of them for the price of 1 Goliath. I of course would buy 1. And just know that it will tear up and I will have to send it back every year and pay $100 to fix it. But I will have 2 so I could just keep switching them out. IDK :peacetwo:

UPDATE: 67 DAYS IN FLOWER.

I chopped LSD 1. ( The one that is front left on all the pictures.) I thought she looked super ready but when I went out there this morning, she didnt look to bad and looked as if I could go on thru the flush. But....on the OTHER hand... I dont want to be stuck manicuring 4 plants at the same time. Takes too long and sucks too much. (dont get me wrong...a "good" problem to have. But rough on the o back and patients) Anyway so I figured Id do this one and have it drying while the others finish. After it dries, I think I will cut the other LSD....OR maybe I should cut a HWFP so I have 1 of each with short flush and shorter flower and 1 of each of having that extra week of flushing and ripening. Either way I think you see where Im going. After it dries I will do another, then another. Till they are all gone. Sad face.. Im not sure what my yield is going to be. And Im racking my brain trying to figure out what im going to do for my next grow as far as light. But you all dont care about that im sure. ON TO THE BUD PORN>>

I decided to cut the whole plant from the base. Leaving all the colas attached. Im hoping this will make it dry slower. It is how I use to do my outdoor plants. And they would normally take about 6-8 days to dry. But RH was of course higher. Another reason I decided to go ahead and chop was the RH right now was in the 60s. I have my heaters turned down for the last couple weeks to make it a little bit colder. Hoping to bring out the colors. (heard of this never tried) SO Im hoping for at least a 5 day dry. But this time I am going to jar as soon as I they are crispy. They let moisture redistribute and dry some more in a bowl. Then jar again and so forth until close enough to use my B-62 packs and let cure for about 2-4 weeks. It was a bit of a pain to manicure the plant as a whole but alot easier because I did a Manifold. So I feel I did a pretty good job. I hope I have a big yield on this grow as I will be without a light for a while. I dont want to run out of smoke. This is the worse time to lose a light as by the time I get a light back and ready it will be hot and almost not worth growing. ANYWAY here is the BUDPORN!!!

Nice work man! Looking real nice.

I ran one LSD. She was fat as hell, great strain. I had the stretch indica pheno, with sativa looking leafs. She went 90 days, barely had to feed her. Smoke crushed it. :volcano-smiley::Namaste:

With RH at 60, she should be dry in 7 days with hung branches and proper sized buds. Add a couple of days for whole plant, and she should be dry in 9 days, unless average RH drops dramatically, or she's in any kind of airflow. That's a perfect dry time Imo. :thumb:

Yea I think so too. (as far as drying time) When you say it went 90 days. Is that total or 90 days in flower? I always worry about letting them go too long and ending up with sleep med. But I also know that some plants want/need to go 11 or 12 weeks or even more. I just checked on the one drying and she is still as wet as when I hung her. Which to me is a good thing because the last 2 grows have dried faster than I would have liked, leaving very little cure.

Congratulations, now off to the drying process! :thumb:

Thank you. :)

Ok so lets take a guess at the weight of this LSD1 plant.... Im gonna guess,....60g Anyone else wanna take a guess? You have about a week.

Yea, 89 days flower, 5 week Veg, single cola plant. She went for a second round of pistils, so I let her go, and she needed it to finish. I pull at 5% amber usually, and she was maybe 20% which was strain appropriate for a mostly indica plant imo.

Drying/Curing is an art. Sounds like you are refining your processes quite intuitively. A helpful rule of thumb is to take the average RH, and add a day to the first number. So, 50%RH takes 6 days, 80% takes 9 days - with hanging branches. Add a day or two if you hang whole plant, or more if you have tons of foliage and huge nugs. I had to break the one above apart to just narrowly escape losing it all to mold.

Slow is better, 9 days is optimal for good sized buds. Looking real nice brother. :Namaste:

Ok so Im still light searching. I gotta say Im a little disappointed in the growing community as there arent a lot of good reviews on LED lights. There are several threads dedicated to it but not a lot of info or actual reviews. Seems a big part of them just turn into HID and MH growers talking about how LED arent worth it and how they just dont work. Then LED growers defending LED. But I would love to hear ACTUAL reviews of some of these big named lights. Or maybe they are there and im just not finding them. But I have searched. And the ones I find I dont trust. But through my research I have come to these lights.

Perfect Sun Goliath- $1200...570 watts...Par reading beats all other lights (in his video)It has 1200 par at 18 inches away. It covers 5x5 feet. ...New company, no one seems to know how well they are built or how long they last. $1200 is alot of money for 1 light. Everyone seems happy with it....Until they arent. Made with Bridgelux - Hi Powered 5w LEDs..Extremely heavy at around 60p so needs a special brace above the tent built. Im no carpenter. Its number 1 on my brain. . . . OR 2 Dwarfs or 2 500s Neil (the owner) seems to recommend the Dwarfs over the 500s

Also looking at California Light works SolarStorm but cost too much for the one big enough to fill a 4x4. The one thats almost 900 only covers a 3x3. Which could be enough for my tent. my tent being a 3.3x3.3..
Also looking at KIND LED They seem to be making a name for themselves.
And every top 10 list...And I mean EVERY top 10 list...seems to have PlatinumLED Grow Lights.

The landscape is very confusing and A person would have to read days worth of journals for each light to get a real sense of what they do. And alot of those dont really show things like how much heat the light is putting out, how long did that light last. How many grows did you get before soemthing happen to it. How was costumer service. I too am guilty. I really should write a review for my Mars Reflector and Mars Tent.

If anyone has some info On any of these or other lights. Id love to hear it. I keep hearing COB is the future and the way to go but Im pretty satisfied with what my cheap mars did. And if it wasnt a peace of crap that tears up after a couple grow, I wouldnt even be looking for a new light. But I dont light the penetration it gets and they are WELL known for tearing up. SO I want a good light that in my tent in my setup I can get 3-4 OZs a plant with 4 plants. And something 3 years from now will do the same. And if its just a fact that led lights dont last then I might as well get a cheaper one. I feel this is a real discussion that needs to happen between us LED growers. And maybe it is, if so point me in the right direction. :)
