Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

that is a really nice 400w kitchen or bathroom led light you got there.

Mine came today and all it says is LED light. It does not say LED grow light. Thank you thank you thank you so much Sara and I'm a real person :yahoo:.. Now on the back Sara it does say for EBay buyers to scam you for the best price. I think you meant to say scan for the best price and you might want to correct that but the rest is all good...:circle-of-love:

Hi, gardenfaerie. sorry we have no paperwork, but if u need instruction, please PM your email address, i will send a txt to u. what do u think about it?

Thanks Sara, Dennise explained it to me. :) I think warranty info and a little sheet with specs and warnings of what not to do with the light would be helpful. That said, I LOVE these lights! Beautiful. I can't find anything to complain about. The sticker on the box will make people paranoid, but I doubt anyone will get in trouble. Aquarium LED would definitely be better, in my opinion. That will send the person reading it to think something entirely different right away. It doesn't leave anything up to the imagination if you TELL people what to think. So I vote for Aquarium LED. Anyone thinking of a light, this is a great light IMO.

Hi, gardenfaerie. u can directly buy from our website or PM me, i will try my best to help u.:thanks:

I will do that when I am ready...

That's how it should be. For flowering both switches must be on

hi

Hi, pacopac. u should buy a Eu plug adapter. or do u have old desk computer, the plug of it can also adapt to our light

we agree that this is just plug adapter , not a transformer ? (anyway, I expect to receive the light to buy plug adapter)

sorry for my stupid questions !

thanks and bye bye !

EDIT: i think "aquarium led light" is better !

This plant was vegged under one 96x3w and is going to flower under 2 Mars II 1200's it's vegging under 1 1200 right now for 10-14 days, she just got transplanted into a 20gl pot. Its one of my crosses called OPP (gdp x gsc)...

I like it! I picked "LED Aquarium Light" for my order. Good idea Sara :)

I agree Sara that putting the word aquarium in there would take any questions out of the equation and would keep any delivery person from thinking what they want. Just my 2 cents and I'm pretty sure I was over paid....
Garden I think what they were talking about with the kitchen or bathroom comment was I posted that it just said LED light on the box and most of the recessed lights in my house are LED lights so if questioned by delivery guy just say it is a bathroom light or something.....:circle-of-love:

Just ordered a mars II 400 and I'm so excited to get started. This thread has SO much useful information and the bud shots are out of this world. I just want to thank everyone here. Made the choice a no brainier!!

Thank you for the warm welcome. I've been lurking as a guest for awhile and these led grows are just phenomenal!! My tent is on the way and so is my light. I'll probably go local for exhaust since the hydro shop I go to are way cool and customer service is second to none. Probably 4" vortex with speed controller(hoping on quarter to half speedish). Anyway, I've completed a few outdoor journals(diff site can't remember at the moment), but never indoor. I haven't decided yet, with all this bud porn around I'm feeling inadequate. Hahaha

You may want to use a Day/Night Temperature Controller to control a Vortex Inline Fan 4 inch 175CFM with a Phresh Intake Filter 6in x 8in 270CFM to control your grow area temperature. I am using LED light panels with 975 watts actual power draw and the Day/Night Temperature Controller is keeping my 6'4" L x 6'6" W x 6' H Grow Bay #1 at 77° Fahrenheit with a 6" version of the equipment.

My tent will be 2 x 2 x 5 so I'm assuming the 4" vortex is more than enough for four square feet. I do like that day/night controller. Thanks for the links.

When measuring adequate fan efficiency you measure cubic feet, not sq ft. If you now how many cubic feet you want to move and how fast, that will give you what size fan to use. Now, do not ask me to do the math because that was a long time ago! :)

I have the same size setup well a ft shorter and i find 4" to be plenty with my old model 100×3 in there i dont even need a on take i just leave the two bottom pipe holes open and it pulls the air through the tent.
