Did a little rearranging today. Found a better sized Hood for flower so I moves the magnum Hood over to veg (I needed the foot print bad). Nothing major I suppose. Still running the same wattage in both. Trimmed the shit out of the veg ladies (always hurts to do but its hard to regret when ur tripling ur yield) and gave em some more training.
I hope to post my grow soon as I learn how, I just harvested my purple cheese autos, and some NYC diesel is going to be ready very soon. The DP brainstorm, Kalishnacov, Skunk 47, and ??? cant remember last one , I'm a little baked right now sorry ;-)
Free mixed seeds from Attitude are not worth the price. All males and horrible Hermaphrodites. all 20 seeds were fucked. These were some free seed special mix. dont even germinate them.
? U wont see me ordering seeds from anywhere. But thanks for the heads up lol. Sorry about the luck man. Just an fyi tho. Attitude is a middleman. They have no direct control over quality and results. But I have found that attitude is very good with their service. If u voice ur experiences to them in a mature professional manneri think you'll find them very eager to right any wrongs. Never liked seedbanks but attitude does have great customer service.
Happy to have ya on board man. Lmk when u make a journal ill definetly sub in
Pretty lackluster effort for pics tonight as I just got back from the beach lol. But I have one of the mendawgs turning purple in the calyx.ill get some better shots in the a.m.
Also kinda seeing a cold temp shock in the leaves but she's developing perplexed almost skunk stripes on the buds. Would love to find a purple pheno again
OK. The camera on my phone just isn't cutting it for getting and good shots of the lavender calyx. So these will have to suffice til I get the leaf out of the way.
Up first is the one mentioned above and yesterday. She's the heaviest indica of the lot and shows a very even expression of traits between the two parents. She smells like juicy fruit got sprayed by a skunk and maybe a little pepper hint. Buds are solid as a rock and sticky as could be. She really came into her own the last week. She was largely disregarded as "meh" most of bloom cause she was failing to impress til now.
Next is what seems to be the most common phenotype. Has kinda the tiny bomb smell to it. Definetly some dawg genes in there but man for how seemingly sparse the trichomes are she makes ALOT of oil. She is sticky as a flytrap and while its not my favorite smell it dominates the room.
My favorite part of this pheno is the yields. I've yet to cut her but she puts on rock solid buds that seem to stall in weeks 6-8 and then explode with foxtails almost tripling in size since week 6 so far. I have two others just like her.
Here's another of the heavy phenotype. This is the ladies that broke her branch in week 6. As u can see even stakes and a hoop can't hold her up. Ill be supercropping her next round in hopes of saving money on stakes lol.
Okay and last but not least is my control for the heavy pheno. She was topped once and then grown per my usual mix and feed. The other two had my modified recipe and mykos amended. The difference is pretty clear really. She's heavy but I'd guess ill get more off the smallest of these three than I will her. Love her just the same. I had actually pegged her as the star early in veg. She's hanging mid pack now but definetly holding her own.. except the buds she needs some help with that lol.
