Number 9 Cr8grow's Fast Blueberry Auto

The plan is a quick auto grow to replenish my indica stash before family might visit late November. Finally finishing up my last jar of purple Corleone Kush from June 2020. It smells like raisins, grapes and spices…a late night treat.
The Blueberry Auto was also very enjoyable and keeps me asleep a long time when the upfront high transitions to a deep stone.
Genetics: These Fem Blueberry Autos were freebies. I grew one out as an auto grow back up Grow #4 and loved the yield, flavor, frost, and effect. I didn’t LST that grow just to see and yielded 47 grams of cured BBA bud. I will LST this time, which should increase yield. I dropped my last 5 BBA seeds into distilled water on August 30, warm in a cabinet with under cabinet lighting. All had tails 2 days later on September 1.
Set Up: 3’x3’x6.5’ cabinet with HEPA filtered light box intake and 4” fan/filter system. I added a new bluetooth temperature/humidity sensor that links to my iPad.
Going with Organic soil produced and sold locally. I added some worm castings, silica/minerals and soil conditioner.
All organic nutes, sprouts through chop. The terpenes and trichomes are amazing with a heavy guano finish.
Four 5 gallon pots, raised off the saucers with cheap suet feeders.
Installed new intake HEPA filter and 4” carbon filter.
This grow will be under my CMH 315w, temporarily set aside for 2 LED test grows. It is a light beast, will run 18 hours on and 6 off. Veg bulb in through stretch, then I will swap in the fall flowering bulb. The cabinet goes from white to pink with the bulb swap.
Five seeds planted on Friday September 2. Monday September 5 all five are up, humidity domes removed. Today is day one, I will take 100% germination as a good start. Should be ready to chop in 9-10 weeks, roughly mid-November. I have some more time now to catch up on other’s good grows and vibes here. Pics are from this morning. Cheers

Day 8 from seedlings popping up, start of Week 2. I had 2 seedlings in one pot to have a back up. One of the two decided to pack it in…saved me from choosing one to snip. I’m watering with a spray bottle very lightly expanding the circle out a bit each day and increasing spray pump frequency. Nutes are organic 1/4 strength plus Superthrive and PH down to 6.4. I will continue a few days more and will then do the first deep water/feed of worm castings tea to runoff (about 2 quarts in my 5 gallon pots) and then let them wick off that water…probably a week. This will also bring up cabinet humidity during the day. I’m starting seedlings in the final pots, a bit tricky to water until you get a feel. These seedlings have been building a good root structure undoubtably week 1. They have also doubled in size, but just settling in for a growth spurt this week. Temps are ranging 66F to 86F. These plants should go purple about week 7. Humidity is already low in the unfinished part of my basement, ranging 34% (hot dry day) to 56% (cool night). Good for wine, makes for an arid grow. Love the new bluetooth temp/humidity gauge to monitor conditions anytime and over time. I thought my update tonight would be “not much to see”, but I stepped out back, got creative….and hungry. Pics from are from tonight. Thanks for checking out this quick stash grow. Cheers

About half way through Week 2. All starting to take off. Worm castings tea will start bubbling with some molasses tomorrow for a deep water this weekend to get the soil bugs happy. I expect a growth spurt next week to start LST. I will be targeting 8 or 9 bud sites. These plants are tolerating an arid climate with long sunny days in the high 80s and short nights that eventually drop to 66F. The Low Rider auto genetics are used to growing in harsh short season conditions. Organic veg nutes will continue at half strength through stretch. Guano will be added and increased through transition into flower. I lowered the light tonight and adjusted the small fans to jiggle

the seedlings consistently. Pics from tonight. Next update start of Week 3 in a few days. Cheers

Day 19, five days since worm castings tea full water, pot are still heavy. I will water the pot edges with some PH 6.4 water and Superthrive about 1/2 quart each tomorrow to draw roots to the pot edges. I started LST today, one anchor and one slight pull the opposite direction to start…slowly. I use soft coated wire at the plant and wire ties to the pot rims. I’ve had the wire ties slice through tender shoots…lost a few main buds regrettably. But I found a better way. I will add a 2nd tie a bit higher in a day or two to pull the top itself more vertical. The plants are thriving so far in a relatively arid and hot environment. The bluetooth temp/humidity gauge is working great for tracking and remote check ins. I snapped the 24 hour and one week views today. When pots are light they will get another full water with 1/2 strength organic veg nutes and the first dose of guano since I can already see pistils on 9❤️. No sign of any bugs…consistent with this local organic soil mix. Definitely indica…oh yeah. Cheers

Day 21, end of Week 3. Pots are still heavy, 2nd round of LST tonight with a higher tie down. All are doing well, bulking up, branching and spreading out nicely. Odor is already ramping up. When pots get light in a few more days they will get first half strength organic nutes plus guano. 9❤️ is throwing out pistils and ready for some flower food. Cheers

Day 24, almost half way into Week 4. Big auto growth spurts. LST continues, these plants are training themselves. They are starting to throw out pistils…hoped for some additional veg time. It’s their clock. Healthy, no bugs, no issues, stress free and really low maintenance. Pots are finally light tonight, don’t want to stress at this point. I watered all with organic veg nutes tonight until run off. I’m using the Light Feeding Schedule chart for these BB autos. I started guano half strength also. I watered these pots 10 days ago with worm castings tea…pots just now light. I did run a ph’d water around the rim a few days ago to coax lateral root growth, added just a bit of organic fish and kelp…stinky but a healthy boost. I will start to LST the side branches soon, they are falling into place. Next feed in about 6 days will be organic flower nutes, half strength, with full guano 2 Tbsp. Pics tonight after deep feed. Cheers.

First real veg feed…plants are halfway between veg and flower. Transition to full organic flower nutes and 2x guano soon. Some are more robust than others. I will tie down side branches this weekend. Pretty low maintenance, my grow style. From prior experience these BBAs should get fat, thick and great smelling in the final few weeks, no more than 10 weeks from sprout. How is that not great? I’m expecting a great yield…1/2 lb…we will see.

Day 28, end of week 4 from sprout. They are stretching now, raised the light a few inches. Pots getting lighter, will need water and nutes in a day or two. I will go with light veg nutes again with guano. I will be switching to flower nutes and the flowering bulb in the next couple weeks. I will trim some smaller branches low this week. Pics from yesterday.

Day 32, about half way into week 5. Pots watered after 5 days…drinking well now. Light veg nutes with guano again to run off. Next water/nutes in a few days will switch to flower nutes and 2x guano. Raising light daily. Flower bulb going in soon. RH up with last watering and temps starting to drop. Fall is starting and colors will start to pop. I will also top dress with light dry organic nutes to supplement a little slow N. Pics from tonight. Cheers

Day 36, start of Week 6. Stretch about over. Pots light a day sooner than last cycle…drinking and feeding well. Switched to flower nutes and doubled up on guano deep water today. Buds are starting to build. Light LST filled the cabinet with bus sites. About 5 more weeks to finish. Water increased RH and temps are dropping a bit…a good stable combination. The Bluetooth gauge is great for environment monitoring trends. Pics from today. Cheers

Day 40, almost the end of Week 6. Pots light, watered and fed all to runoff. 9♣️ is a lighter green leggy sativa looking plant, not bulking up at all like the others. See what looks like the start of a mag deficiency on 9♣️, so added a little epsom salts to the water for all. Should be 4 to 5 weeks to chop. Swapping in the flower bulb this weekend to finish…cabinet will get a pink hue. The other 3 are doing well. I really only did LST on the mains, the plant trained itself good enough for me. Pics from today after water.

Day 43, start of Week 7. Still have in the veg bulb, will swap in flower bulb later today. Plants requiring water every 5th day. I see some fans being consumed…need about 4 more weeks maybe 5 to chop. Seeing some very light purplish hue near the tops of the larger indica forward buds and first signs of frost. I doubled up on bat guano a couple feeds ago and will stay at that level through to finish. Smell has been evident for weeks, but ramping up now to a funky cat whiz. Pics from this morning.

Day 47…got busy, watered last night, really needed water a day sooner. Some minor drooping…mostly the stretchy one, now front right. That lanky pheno will impact my overall yield, but might be a great surprise…looks like the buds will be berry shaped. Buds on the indica dominates are bulking and stacking and starting to lightly purple…really frosting up now. Just some normal fall fan leave N consumption. I raised the light tonight seeing some leaf tip curl. I still have in the veg bulb…need to switch to flowering bulb. Looking hungry…will add some N fish/kelp around the the edges. About 3 weeks to go. Pics from this morning. Cheers

Two days ago was Day 56, start of week 9. Plants slowing down on water uptake. Buds are swelling and frosting up nicely…except the sativa looking one. Pistils are slowing with some starting to slightly shrivel. The smell on two is rough…summer portapotty. Water to dry cycle has been every 6th day for a few weeks. Pots still felt a bit of heft day 6 and 7…then full wilt day 8. I swapped in the flower bulb for the last weeks…pink hue in the cabinet. Too busy at work, I should have changed the bulb 1-2 weeks ago. I deep watered and fed 2 days ago. Plants are heat and light stressed. I will raise the light a bit. I see some Mg deficiency, will dose with epsom salts. N is running out, so added fish/kelp emulsion to usual flower nutes plus 2x guano. My environment is hot and relatively dry. I need to think about adding a humidity source for my 3x3’ cabinet with control. Pics from 2 days ago. Screen shot of Temp and RH from moments ago. Should be a couple more weeks to chop. Cheers
