I have free gas here so if I'm going to continue growing indoors, I may just put a small boiler system in a bedroom and be done with all this BS heating problems. I know I could easily heat a 15X22' bedroom for 500 - 600 bucks.
I love custom electrical stuff gets my juices flowing. Why buy a controller when you can build one. I don't do a lot of hvac stuff so haven't even thought about those parts. Great to see you came up with something without the diy thread though brother and if you have all the parts..... Well that's money in the bank.
Yay! Lights are here. Time to do some hanging. I have to finish up 6 more hangers for the lights. I've made 2 for one last night that get me an extra 9.5 - 10 inches of hight in the room. I need every last inch!
Put that aside for a minute. Can anyone give me a reason I can't or shouldn't put my air pump either outside or in my fridge or freezer to keep the rez temps down in my DWC room? Seems like the buckets really pick up the heat from the room. Came home tonight and found the rez temps fairy high. 74 - 75 f degrees.
Just wondering....
I'm off to play with some lights. Goodnight folks, Andy.
Hi there. Welcome to another installment of Curious George Grows A Plant. In this chapter, George builds a better light bracket for his P-150's and installs new lights in his room. Followed by random pics of my 3 Amigas in various stages of flowering bliss. Then bringing up the end of the chapter, George installs a cooling fan and P-300 in the DWC room for the granddaughters.<Begin the intro song for "The Beverly Hillbillies".....>
And a really trippy light leak in my DWC room on my bedroom floor.....
Not going to bore you with stats.... everything is doing well. Got the Blue Labs Ph pen and LOVE that thing!!
Caught a few mites on the PC the other day. Sprayed and checked today, all are murdered in their sleep.
Finally got ahold of some decent weed today to just round up an all around good day
Will be getting the Blue Lab Monitor tomorrow or Sat. Not sure yet.
I should mention that the brackets that come with the Platinum lights are completely top notch. That said, I felt the need for more highth. The stock hanger takes 9.5" to the adjusting D ring, while the bracket I made is about 2.5". On one side of my room I don't have as much room, so every inch counts! I think it was worth the 7 inches. I cant count the number of posts I've seen where peoples plants are plastered to the bottom of their lights. Walla! An E-Mail to Mark is forth coming. Talked to him on the phone the other day. I didn't show all the lights with them on because I just haven't put them on yet.
I am thrilled to death to have 4 P-150s running in there. The coverage I expect to be far better and gives me a sideways direction if I want.

Well, today I got some new tools. Well the pen I got a few days ago. The monitor I got today. I can't tell you how nice it is to see at a glance, what your rez is doing!!! Fan-flippin'-tastic!!
So a couple pics of that and then a couple flower pics. Enjoy
Week 5 begins I got all the brackets installed on the new lights today. In the pics, you can see a side by side what I gained in highth. Well worth the couple hours to make. Cost? Maybe 10 bucks.
Did a nute change on the RW girls and the DWC chicks too. DWC is running at Ph 5.8 & 350ppm. The RW girls are....
So the stats and pics......
WOW! I think you have this pretty well nailed down now!!! Good Job!!! man I wish I could test a couple of those plat lights one of these days... Looking GREAT!
