I want to pin this before I forget.
I was initially 'charging' the coco pretty even in ratio.
Theory: you do not want autos to stop or slow growing. So that transition from seedling stage to early veg happens like lightning with these and if the medium isn't ready you run risk of stunted growth. This way in the first week if they happen to need food it's there.

Now we switch to the Lucas formula at day 8. posting a link to a perfect chart for my nutrients.

I may modify this and add some grow for these next 3 weeks.

I need to double check with one more auto grower, West Coast Cannabis, if I can find his nute video... his system is very close but I feel his results appear just a bit better than what I've seen from this formula.

Also, I love input!! Autos are like a new frontier.
Breeders are kicking ass on thier side and we are together producing better ways to grow them! (Cough ehem Dewey)
We are learning new tricks very quickly it seems.

The biggest thing that I disliked about autoflower was the shape. I thought they looked like mutants but the new ones look much better if trained and you can even top them now! Enough rambling will post 10 day pics in a few days.

Ok so I fed full veg day 1 one based on the ideas of the Lucas formula but changed for tap water and early veg.


Lucas formula uses 1/5tsp epsom salt, 3ml cal-mag plus, 3ml micro and 5ml bloom only.

The Calmag at 3ml per gal provides enough nitrogen to replace the grow element.

Since I'm using tap water with a lot of calcium and getting magnesium from an extra little bit of of epsom salt 1/4tsp.
Im only using 1ml of Calmag. I replace the lost nitrogen with 1ml grow and 1ml rapid start.
The ppm came out perfect at 500.
PH high 5.
This is for days 8-15

Day 10 update for most, day 6 green crack and 1GSC.

So they go side shot, top shot, of each one. For example first two pics Marta, etc.

The first two are greenhouse Northern Lights. The last 2 fastbuds Girl Scout cookies

Next post will have the others and seedlings.

Next Fastbuds LSD25 x2,
Royal Queen NYC Diesel x2 Gina and Lina.
They aren't doing nearly as well as the rest. I will say each pair is uniform relative to one another.

1 more Fastbuds GSC Emily for total of 3.

2 fastbuds green crack Emily and and Trish.

Oh ya, dropped 3 photo dark plasma in water in hopes for a female. I have enough yet once we get to the new place but I figured it would be a good idea to start learning to clone.

Looking good Pheno!! Stoked to see this grow! I'd like to dabble in the cloning and breeding realms myself. I'm on the fence with using coco on my next grow. Ha! Just watched that video love it thanks for the laughs this morning.

I wasn't sure when I started if I would stay in soil really and I think it went well. However I am loving coco so far.

I know I should try learning to clone using rockwool cubes and a hand method, but I think I'm just going to break down and buy an oxy cloner I've seen really good success with that from that and it's relatively inexpensive.

Doing great, little mag deficiency, showing most on the GSC. upped calmag 1ml yesterday. Looks worse today but I will give it a couple of days.

The leaves are incredibly soft and paper thin. They feel like silk.

I will say this, under the mix with LED last time the leaves were awesome. Thick, lush and almost a thin plastic protective outer layer lol. Best I can describe.

The ones under MH only were were similar to this but much thicker and not so soft.

Is this a problem?

Hey good evening Penny how's it going here's a couple of snapshots if it looks a little bit shiny that's not true to real life they're actually more of a matte finish then the ones I described under the LED those had a little bit of a Sheen if you understand what I mean?

Anyway I talked with another guy that grows Autos from West Coast cannabis on YouTube and he saw my 10-day update video remark that it could be humidity that's causing my leaf twisting so that makes me wonder if that might also be the culprit for the soft silky leaves.
Doesn't explain paper thin but maybe they are still just babies.

Hmm. Hadn't considered it but I think you may be right.

While they all show it a bit, the texture, seems the fastbuds in general show the thinness most though... Interesting.
I wonder if it is genetics and from the auto cross...

Ok well I have 3 dark plasma about to Sprout in the same tent so it will be interesting to compare.

If it doesn't prove to be a problem I'll roll with it but seems weird.

Hope everyone is doing well. Looks like Dark Plasma will be popping their heads up today, I can see them starting to.

Debating if that should mark the beginning of my perpetual/breeding journal...meaning if I should start it now.

Ya, I'll Keep them seperate and when this is done unless another side project pops up focus on the other 100%

Here's what we are smoking on today from last harvest . Aurora Indica.
After the cure it's still retained the fruity smell but has a noticeable menthol exhale. Mixed with my lemonhead AK (I like to mix and match sometimes) it's not unlike peppermint lemon tea. Anyway, good relaxing smoke while not too heavy.
