It is, in the beginning. Look up "no-till" and "bluejay" google
That's where I got a lot of my recipe from. Worked with those guys years ago developing the recipe.... we widdled it down to what it is now. I'm slightly different but not much.
So LOS to start, and no-till for the long haul. Amend and be happy. Eventually its just water is all we need and IPM of course.

I’ll spread them out but I’m going to lollipop and trim everything that not a top colas. Just waiting for them to start flowering now.

You can get lost in the LOS. This guy did. But the best for real. Can get expensive if you can't get free addendums. And heavy. Literally 500 pounds of dirt for 4 plants . But once you get it rolling surely unstoppable
