SpaceGhosts RDWC Multi Strain Grow

ohly shit that stuffs expensive. 2nd thought I'll pass on getting that.

For now I add 500ml of h202 2 drops per gal Clorox and another gal of ice in the reservoir, I'll meet you bitches at the water line in a couple hrs (man I just said I haven't had to use any of this shit in a long time, jinxed myself) and found some Ortho Flower & Fruit spray that has the active ingredient, acetamiprid. I sprayed it on top of my hydrotron and it was a swarm of fleeing BITCH's bugs die you fucketrs
the fight goes on
think I swallowed a fleeing nat
Help! Gag! Spit! Puke! Where's my hash pipe :smokin:

Go get Azamax, 20 bucks for a small bottle. It is expensive... but its worth it. 12mL in a 2 liter water solution it looks like milk lol that shit will take away any sort of insect you have on your roots. Dump it through, collect it and do it again (not in res, just through the hydro beads. Just a suggestion. Works every time!

I wouldn't recommend mixing the nutes at that high of a concentration. I would get the total volume of water that you plan on using in the container first, then add the nutes. MICRO first, followed by grow and bloom. Mixing nutrients that come in different parts in high concentrations could possibly result in precipitation of certain compounds rendering them unavailable for plant uptake.

I was going to say something until I read you had..................SEE Corey, I listen to you! lol

I agree. Also the plants will uptake it through the roots and protect the plants from other nasty bugs. I'd go light on the stuff though as it can cause the plants not to uptake anything if used too heavy, Just ask Xlr8
I used one ounce per 55 gallons

And did I read right, you have your stones glued to the bottom of your res????

And did I read right, you have your stones glued to the bottom of your res????

Well I have them silicone to the bottom of the 5 gal buckets. I noticed when the stones where loose they would some times float or get tangled in the roots when rotating the plants. I was even lifting the plants and then rotating them so the air line and the stone would not get twisted up in the roots. This solved all those issues. Remember I use those clam shell 3" stones from Mejers They never plug and give lots of bubbles.

I changed/cleaned out reservoirs tonight in the bloom room they looked bleached out from the H202 and clorox. I love having the new water filter. Both tanks done in a hr, plenty of filtered water, I could even do the Veg room.

With the BPN just not sure how to go about doing this so I mixed up a less concentrated mix for 15 gal hoping not to have any left over, and I did. So I filled the gal jug all the way to dilute the left overs as much as I could. I have the tank set to 1050 ppm's.
The tank and buckets took a little less than 3 full 5gal buckets to bring the water level to 6" where I try to keep it at, so about maybe 13 gal. Do you count the ppm's of the B-52?

Someone explain to me how to mix my reservoir and buckets for 13gal so next week I can do this right. TY My starting ppm's are 180-190

:peace:

How I mix my BPN nutes:

Aside from the initial filling of the res. I have my "water line" or high water mark. I top off with ro water every day. Lately, my initial mix has been too hot, and at about 2.2 e.c. or 1100 ppm on my .5 conv meter. So I know I want it down. I add 2-3 gals per day in my res of plain water to bring it to the line. I let it recirc and mix up well then take a reading of the e.c. Once it gets down to say low 700ppm, I take about a third of a gal of water out and use it to mix some nutes into. I dont add nutes straight to my res. But I take that 3rd of a gal and mix in about a gal worth of my nute mix. 8ml of this, 20ml of that, etc. Then I add that back to the res. After it mixes up well and recirculates good I re-take my readings and I'm at 900 something ppm or 1.8-1.9 e.c.

It's pretty simple really, and allows me to work on getting to the number I want. Trying to find the sweet spot, where it uses 60ppm in 3 days.

I finished my DIY Water Chiller and here are the plans

for under 200.00

I was using my chest freezer to freeze gal jugs of water to place in my reservoir tanks to cool them down. Well after a high electric bill, I decided that this was a area that cold use some improvement and cut costs too. My chest freezer was running 100% of the time on the highest (coldest) #9 setting trying to keep up with making ice to keep my reservoirs cool, I would also run out of ice at times as the chest freezer just can't keep up with 6gal jugs a day to freeze. I would then neglect my plants and they might get 1 jug a day until more frozen jugs became available.

I am now able to set my chest freezer on the lowest #1 (warmest) setting saving $$ and never worry about high reservoir temps again. You can do multiple reservoirs and or even your buckets with this method.

Parts needed
Small chest freezer 50.00 Craigs list
Temp controller 65.00
550gph water pump 30.00
3/8 hose 20.00 100ft
3/8 aluminum tubing 25' ..22.00 use the Moroso aluminum fuel line
5/16 hose clamps 2.50 four pack

Initial cost is about 200.00. You can ad another pump and temperature controller and maintain 2/3 or 4 reservoirs and not have any heat issues. A temp controller and pump for every reservoir. To ad a reservoir the cost would be about 95.00 for the pump and temp controller

If you need more cooling turn down the freezer and ad anti freeze.

I 1st lined my chest freezer with 2 large bags before adding the water to it. I have the temp setting on #1 and it is maintaining about 40deg.

550gph pump at the bottom of my small chest freezer
IMG_014120.JPG

The 3/8 aluminum tubing (fuel line) is easy to bend and manipulate to fit your reservoir, I cut the 25' piece in 1/2 and used it for for my 2nd flower room reservoirs, as of now I am running the chiller pump off my reservoir pump timer. every time my plants get their nutrients circulated the chiller pump turns on and cools the reservoirs down. I have not picked up the Temp controller as of yet.
What 1 would do is plug the chiller pump into the temp controller and place the thermocouple into the reservoir that way when the temp rises above 68deg in the reservoir, the pump turns on automatically and then shuts off when the reservoir cools back down to 68deg.

My next money saving project is to get this fan on a timer. It really needs to be on a temperature controller but a timer is cheaper for now.
It's a 240v dual squirrel cage fan that runs as soon as the lights come on and then it shuts off with the lights.
I'm planing on putting a timer on this fan and cut it's run time in 1/2 and then I can turn it on once or twice while the lights are off and still save some $$

Both reservoirs for the flowering room are now on Blue Planet Nutrients :thumb:
PPm's 1100

Monster bloom schedule on the plants under the 1000 they have at the most 2 weeks left
I mixed up a 10 gal mix in a 1gal jug. used up most of the mix, added some water and through the extra in the other tank. I'm still going to try to mix my old ways, but just not leave anything left over to crystallize/salt up.

This works for me. When I mix my nutes or top off a reservoir, I do this: I typically estimate how much water I add and then mix straight nutes into my reservoir starting with Micro, Grow, Bloom, then the rest of the supplements I use. I have the proportions down and estimate the correct amounts based on the amount of water I added. For instance, if I think that I topped off with about 30 gallons of water (I always use a graduated 55 gallon drum), then I multiply 30 by the ml/gallon in the feed schedule of each part that I use. I then take measure of EC or ppm after it is well mixed and either add more or drain a little out and add fresh water if I added too much. I typically underestimate it and have to add more (I am very conservative with nutrients). I always wing it for my grows but the results are always badass. Just listen to your plants :)

I just never paid attention to how many gal I was putting in my Res. It didn't mater if I mixed up 25 gal or 15 it was the same mix and I would just have some left over until the next Nut change and I liked it like this, but now I have to change a little and adapt to my grow.

I have to say this is probably my last journal, I'm going stealth, underground after this, I'll stick around help out as mush as I can, but this will be the last journal of mine. :peace: You taught me well Hempy Master

here is so pics of my Veg. getting ready to go flower, you must start training very early and stay on it. (eat ya heart out Bass) I used weights (nuts, bolts) and then when they out grew them I used the Twist tie from the hydro store to tie them down
I'm going to switch this over to BPN tomorrow in this room :thanks: BPN

Blueberry, topped once, early, then tied down

And here is a Red Chunk
Same methods topped early and weighted and then tied down
IMG_015213.JPG

here is a picture of ever1 in training before.
I use wire ties to hook the weights to the plants very easy and quick.
IMG_008819.JPG

Here is a pic with the wire ties holding the plants down after they out grew the nuts and bolts. I drill a small hole in the edge of the bucket lid to slip the wire tie through and fasten down. If you haven't used the wire tie before here is a link to what I am using it comes in 50ft lengths and is easily cut. it's at the bottom left of this pic. I started using it because I heard subcool420 using it, cuting it in the background of one of his videos.(weednerd:peace:Bro)like this

Thought I'd share some more with ya all.
Just got home from the bar, got the munchies and looks what got made earlier today.

If any1 hasn't made these yet. What ya waitin for. fallow my recipe and you'll be locked up on the couch

Whats wrong? Your grow is going so great!

Don't worry bro I ain't quitin. Just out of meds for a couple days and got pissed off around here the forums. Back to havin a little meds for a couple days, Harvest coming this weekend and it aint soon enough. It suks to pay for meds when thre right there before my eyes.

peace
im going to eat a rice crispy

Who wants to see some pics. I love showing off my grow.

Any Noob can do this. Stick with it. We've all have had our troubles, it's all in how you solve them and keep it from happening again.

with that being said I will snap a few porn pics and show them off here next post as soon as I transfer the pics.

This threads all about Blue Planet Nutrients so 1st up is a Pinapple Exp and a Grapefruit.
The Grapefruit is really taking off, it grows real quick and needs a lot of pruning, I've been cutting a lot out down low. The stuff that has not started budding or is just laging behind at this stage get rid of it, cut it out it will only suck from the good buds in turn causing more trimming and less yield at harvest. Nobody wants that popcorn shit anyways it just gets tossed in the hash pile for much less $$$
pics pics
2 Pineapple Exp left fron and the Grapefruit towering over the PE. Thay have been on BPN for 27 days of 12hrs. Growth is every bit as good as my AN but at a 1/3 of the price TY BPN
IMG_017016.JPG

Here is a Blueberry princess right and 2 more PE. Day 52 of 12hrs. They have been on BPN for 2 weeks. and showed good growth as soon as they were transferred to BPN.
They are being harvested this weekend and it ain't soon enough. the buds on the Blueberry are heavy and pullin her down flating her out
IMG_016814.JPG

and then the PineApple express there is another one in there it blends in ad it looks like one canopy of PE. This is my 1st PE. I'm excited I never seen the movie ether. I will grab better pics tomorrow night when the lights 1st come one and try to get some detailed shots.

I am building a addition/spliting my basement in 1/2 doing some renovating. put up a wall cost me about 40.00 with the Pandapapers and another 20.00 to rent the stud driver to attach the 2x4's to the floor. Wee just moved in 2-3 years ago and this is all brand new carpeting. we were planing on throwing a tarp down, but now I'm thinking about just cutting it roll it up and set aside for when we move and room would be disassemble and carpet replaced. I just can't believe it won't get fuked up in a couple years

What ya guys think. tear it out? Myself I'd rather have the buckets on the cool cement. but $$ wise a tarp may work. What ya guy's think. Any1 know a good water proof tarp thats going to hold up to the punishments of growing?

Now where did I set the 8gauge staples at for the 50amp wiring.

opps forgot the pics lmao (meds)

the new Veg rooms controle panel mount
I gota lot of work to do this weekend, harvest renovating and transferring plants

pull the carpet up. IF that shit gets wet repeatedly, it will start to mold and stink. Also, carpet is a good place for bugs to hide. Cement can be cleaned and disinfected easily. Oh, man, I love DWC.....that is the way I grow 99% of the time. Keep it up bro ;)
