Hey...I'm :ganjamon: and I'm helping a buddy out who's looking at distributing these lights in the Great White North by testing 3 LED Panels (HGL's) totalling 378w against 1000w HPS. Both covering a 4x4 canopy of the orginal White Widow and another Of Green House Seeds strains callled AMS. Total of 11 plants for both sides.
Will post some pics as soon as I learn how...LOL...in the mean time :welcome: all and I'll try to help and answer any question or divert you those that can.

Turns out I think I have to be allowed to post attachements...HELP Soniq420...LOL

Hears some more info:
The plants were all turned to 12/12 a couple of days ago under the LED's but not veged with them...for the sake of speeding things up we already know LED's are ok to VEG but so is everything else...LOL
We just want to confirm what the manufacture claims and that these LED's will not just keep up with the HID but might even outperform it for finished product. The plants are currently just over 2' and should finish just over 3'
When I can I will post examples of some 6 week old girls these LED's are trying to out do!
It's going to take 1 1/2 P's for me to be satisfied and + to be impressed !

Thanks for doing this buddy or I should say :ganjamon:...LOL

The bud shots are exactly what we need to see from the LED's in 6 weeks. They are 2 WW and 9 AMS plants under a single 1000w HPS. The LED's were placed on a split 4x8 table and just turned 12/12 for this test of the lights. The exact same plants are under the LEDS and just to keep everything as even as possible another set were started under another HPS light at the same time. If all goes well Santa will have a heavier sleigh this year as harvest is Christmas Day...:bong:

:thanks: again :ganjamon:

Very very interesting thread.
I personally use l.e.d.'s and love them.
They have their pro'c and con's but for clones, they totally rock.

What a great experiement because flowering is indeed where they usually lack

What a great job:cheer:

Thanks Lacy, what kind of LED's do you have?

ok I see it now "morning buzz" I guess I was to focused on pot porn more pictures of the naked ladies lol please!

He started with the lights 9" above the canopy and after a week they are only at 3" so they've stretched a bit and are forming nicely...unfortunately we are no porn producers...LOL

This is what I'm currently doing with them in my own garden:

I see no reason why you'd be unable to do the same :smokin: You're gonna have some really nice buds!

The plant isn't growing vertically anymore, except for the new hairs at the top, so the light above this plant has remained constant for the last two weeks. It is in it's final stages, thickening up very nicely with each week. As per the other plants, the lights get raised every few days depending on where they are at in bloom. Once they stop vertically, the light stops moving. I tend to keep the light within 6" at this stage.

Holy cow, I guess you had a unlimited budget when you where getting lights. Wish I had just a couple of those things. Looks like a darn spaceship. Great job...
