New girls looking ‘bout ready to go. I like the way you’ve rigged up your garden where it is - nice use of space.

i had a lot to consider, just finishing my first grow
limited height, 120cm floor to lights at their highest, but a fair bit of floor space, the angled beams make it tough on the back and knees haha and i have access down one side only when the tent is full haha

i chose the quantum boards in big part because of how shallow they are , they sit up in the top closer than any other light would have, except maybe the new marshydro ts series in the long thin version.

and ofc training is crucial, the 3 i just pulled were manifolded to deal with the height and create as much growth as possible creating short bushes. worked.., 685,847 and 1115g total wet trimmed to individual buds weight, low and slow drying so will be waiting a few weeks still for final numbers, will be interesting to see how the numbers compare on quads, albeit different strains.

Here’s an update on my C99xblueberry quad. I found some seed pods on some of my other plants. :( I think this one didn’t get contaminated too much. I’ve only seen one or two on her so far. She’s my shortest one, but the cool thing I'm noticing about the quad is how well it supports itself. My other three needed lots of supports.

Everyone’s quads are looking so stellar, and a special shout out to @Dutchman1990 on all those beauties.

I think these tsl2000 would fit in a very tight space if you extended the power leads to out of the room and moved the drivers. panels are so light that without the drivers weight and heat , they could be great for a closet grow. I am shocked at the rapid growth i have in just 3 days so far.

I'm in.

Sorry to ask this, but are some of you using electrical wiring to tie down or what is that attached to the staples? The only thing the local guy had was some stuff that looked about like scotch tape but green.

yepp gg they would, still im more than happy with my quantums and the space worked well first grow round, lets hope i can fill the space even better with the quads!

@Alafornia i use electrical wire, as well as tent pegs plant staples and pipe cleaners lol nothing too harsh and not too tight on the pipe cleaners or the limbs will grow around them lol

@falstaffo what gauge wire do you recommend?
not sure on gauges tbh
here we have 3 and 4 core cabling for home electric wiring, i had some left from wiring up the sockets in the grow room, i just strip them out of the insulating layer, and keep the wires with more insulation, the bare earth wire gets thrown.
the rubber insulation around the wires are gentle, plus i can cut them longer or shorter as needed.
they dont hold place for long when the plant gets bigger though
i stand my pots on wire racks, pipe cleaners are better for when the plant gets too strong for wires and staples to hold branches in place, i can tie 2 together or use them solo to pull the chosen target down into place and wrap the pipe cleaner around the rack

This is what I use. I found it in the garden section of Lowe’s. It’s pretty rigid. I use plyers to bend it. If I could find something similar with a thicker coating I would go with that.

6.5 inch from the lights now. Uh Oh! :laughtwo:

still stretching?
i went around pinching the stems to pop during stretch to try slow the stretch a bit, read it somewhere, seemed to work lol
almost supercropping but without the bending

May have to try that on a couple of branches. Cheers.
