Just everyday I have more and more of those fans pushing up thru the middle choking the poor girls.

I was removing fans daily, they would seem to replace them during the lights off period.

So my area runs 40-50% normally, that still too high?
40% is what I’m trying to maintain, @Derbybud this is a weird one, I don’t have lots of experience with autos but no I haven’t had a plant like these before.

Saturday morning update on mine.
I culled the bottom "buds" on BSA #1, day 29. There's only so much larf I can deal with
I may take off another set as it "grows"
And here is #2, day 27. I tie down a little more each day and it's a pretty flat canopy at this point. I'm starting to see some pistils so I may let it start to head north a bit:
I have to say that if I had the cabbage pheno it would drive me nuts with all the leaves!

Man I woulda gone full @newty on those by now out of frustration!
I know right, I want to keep the fan leaves on as long as possible to fuel growth. I’ll strip them proper once the flowers set.
