I finally feel like I’m cooking with gas. WillE still isn’t banging, I can see a considerable improvement tho, and Halle is defshaping up. I think they are now prolly a bit too bushy. I am continuing to CarhookTM them. My aim is an even canopy, and lush foliage. All advice welcome.

It looks like you're doing everything right on those girls, but there's one more thing you should do
to make for an even more lush canopy- any of the leaves that are growing inward (toward the center of the pot) should be removed to let the light get to the nodes below them- these nodes will make up some of the canopy in a couple of weeks (if they get light), so, for example. instead of 8 colas, you can have 16 or more.
There's probably only 4 or 6 leaves on each plant that should be removed, so by tomorrow you won't even know they're missing...I know you don't like to clip leaves, but this is just part of the process, and it will make the plants more productive in the long run....
Here's an example of what should be removed:

Then just keep her as flat as possible until flower time!

So I had a brain explosion and decided my little monster cropped girl needed new digs too. And it hit me while uppotting her why monster cropping is by far my fav way to grow. You have this weird fragile looking freak of a plant. She looks like she’ll amount to nothing. But if you are kind to her, and treat her with love and you believe in her she will bloom into something extraordinary. But if you mistreat her, even if it’s by accident, her head will fall off and she will wither and die.

While on top she looks like a freak who will never be anything, just below the surface she has the rootball that would make a fancy seed jealous.

Truth be told I’m a tad tipsy McGee and right at this moment my plants look like green dragons. I just hope they look better in the morning.

C Bend I think I’ve done another whoopsie.

So, I’m outside watering, not like a savage, like a proper 420 grower, my flow was slow, and I start looking at my leaves. I think to myself, they need trimming.

My brain: Get advice, remember the time you scalped Trixie, you have no idea when it comes to leaf removal you need a firm number
My confidence: get the scissors
My brain: You said you wouldn’t do this again
My confidence: get the scissors

My brain: ok well take no more than 6 leaves

Well...I sort of thought you weren't keen on defoliating, so I showed you the minimum
that should be removed....but, what you did is fine- the more light that gets to the nodes/branches the better!
So you did a good thing- now all the little branches that were previously in the dark, will start to make their way up to the top and fill in that canopy.

(you should probably wait a little while before you do that again though...)

Will I ever learn? I did this exact thing once before!

Saddest thing, I did it to my son every year from the ages 2 to about 7. What I can tell you as a fact tho, there is just 9 days between a bad haircut and an ok haircut. I only have 8 days to go.

Ive seen you around too.

I went a bit extreme on the scissors not yesterday the day before and I’m hoping they look ok enough to photograph today.

My gut feeling says I did the right thing, but full disclosure my gut feeling also thought the digging I could hear two doors down was my weird neighbour burying his elderly parents, in case you’re wondering, he wasn’t. And after having a chat with him yesterday he’s not even weird.

Do you know when I first started this I literally thought trimming would be the best part!

How wrong I was. So my trimmer can't come till Saturday and I want this pretty girl washed and hung.

I'm trying to find my trim vibe. I bought new scissors and I am taking their warning seriously I must keep blades AWAY from my digits.
