What deficiency is this?

Are any of these brands actual soil? For some reason where im from in grow shops they don't know the difference between soil and soiless, i asked them if terra canna is soil and they told me it is...

Do you guys recognise these brands? Which one's are soil?

there are folk who use the terra, the bio-bizz, and the plagron stuff on the board. a few of those brands have multiple formulations so you have to know which one you are dealing with.

most guys in the hydro stores don't actually refer to the media correctly. if it isn't water they'll call it soil just as a generic name.

no. they have various mixed media. you need to read the labels and descriptions when ordering.

I Always get these weird deficiencies in flower, where as in veg they're all nice and green, doesn't seem to affect yield and quality, but im wondering what it is.


Upping the dose of MC hasn't worked in the past so this year I'm sticking to MC calculator reccomentations

I use to get that same issue. Then I started adding this to my soil. 1/3rd Perlite, 3 table spoons of Phosphate per 5 gal. of soil, and the recommended amount of Dynomyco from the bag. Plants stay green all the way to harvest.

Might make a difference in different soil brands... not sure. I only use FFOF.

I also use Mega Crop for nutes with added Silica,

they all have more than one product. formulations change from product to product. bio has peat, amended peat, peat / coco mixes, and straight coco mixes. plagron has peat, peat amended, peat / perlite, and peat / perlite / coco mixes.

they'll all be called a soil for shorthand. in a hydro shop "soil" is anything that is ph'd to 6.3 for feeding, or is buffered and never ph'd at all for feeding.

edit : the important thing to know is if it needs to be ph'd, and at what level.
