Haze Berry Auto

End of week 3 (from germination)

Coco (80 coco 20 perlite) buffered with 1200EC calmag

Fed once a day when temperature was 26 degrees inside tent, now at week 3 temperature outdoor is 33 degrees celcius and inside tent is 31 and I am feeding twice a day (1x right before lights off, 1x right after lights on

750EC nutes (Armor Si Silica 0.2ml + 500EC calmag + 200 EC Coco Canna A&B + 50EC Rhizotonic & Cannazim

PH 6.1

Runoff PH is 5.8 and Runoff EC collected after the second feed(when lights are on) is 1100. It's been like this for one week.

Light cycle 18/6
250W
630ppfd on canopy

Temp 31 degrees inside tent
75% Humidity

Problem started when completed 2 weeks, beginning of week 3 when heat outside increased, lights was increased from 400ppfd to 630ppfd as well.

Looks like light burn, or potassium deficiency or calcium deficiency. I'm very confused and cant find a proper diagnosis. Id appreciate your help

Hi if u have tap water ec of 0.4 or above hard water u shouldn't need calmag with canna nutes or if u do u will need a small amount 0.2ec im growing in coco using canna nutes all i use until flower is canna a b i was feed feeding 0.8 ec a b late veg and the spots are your leaves rubbing against each causing wet patches

hey @autohaze and welcome to the forum!

Seems your temperature is getting too high... close to 90°F. Any ideas for how to bring the temp down 5-10°? This could be why some leaves are showing a bit of upturn on the margins... it's only slight.

This is looking like a possible potassium deficiency. Or, could be N toxicity. I'd say back off on the N... the leaves don't need to be that green.

Canna coco A B is a 2 part nutrient u feed through veg and flower there cal mag contains 2% nitrogen 500ec cal mag is 0.7 on the 700 scale im feeding 0.8 ec base nutes only on the same scale it's probably to much N from cal mag messing with potassium

Thanks. I use distiled water, 0EC. I think it's possible It's caused by the leavea rubbing against each other. The plant is very bushy.

Thanks man. I improved the exaust fan and opened one of the windows, there's still negatve pressure and now temperature is around 26. I'll keep an eye on the curl if it will be solved. About N toxicity, I'm giving only 200EC of Canna AB, which is not a lot. Do.you think I should reduce it? And potassium deficiency, I'm confused if it's the reason, because theres potassium in my silica solution (0-0-4) and in Canna AB. What do you think?

26 C is good... about 78°F.

I'm an outdoor soil grower of photoperiod plants... others can help with this better than I.

Tagging @Bill284 here... he's our resident coco expert. :thanks:

Fyi, I think Canna A & B does list the amounts of nutrients in their product, on the back label.

I'd get @Emilya Green opinion on the leaves. She's very rarely wrong. I'd also talk with @InTheShed about your nute mixture. He can help with dialing in your nutes with his calculations. I've been using his calculations for a few grows now & they work very well.
The Shedster knows his nutes, and he knows his links also. 🦸‍♂️ CL🍀 :cheesygrinsmiley:

Good morning my friend and welcome to 420Magazine.
Armour si doesn't get mixed with other ingredients.
Goes in water by itself.
Don't mix anything with it.
Put your calmag in first.
Then nutrients according to the schedule.
Last set ph to 5.8.
Then feed every day.
Armour si give once a week, just a little drink to each.
But calmag goes in first.
No plain water, ever. 😎
Hope your having a great day.
Take care.

Thanks man. Hi @Emilya Green Hi @InTheShed I'd appreciate your help on the leaves and my nutes mixture. My ph and temperature are very controlled at the moment. 5.8 in and 6.0 runoff, 26~27oC lights on, 24oC lights off. EC 850 in 820 runoff. But the yellow spots are still showing. Am really struggling to fund a solution for this. Here's a breakdown of my feed on the 3rd week.

Feeding 2x a day
Each time 750ml, getting around 25% runoff each time

I use distiled water 0 EC for my mix. Each feed first I add 0.1ml of silica, then I wait 60 minutes and I add Calmag. Total EC at this point is 500 EC. Then I add Canna A, then Canna B. Total EC goes to 750 EC with all these nutes I mentioned so far.
Then I add Rhizotonic 1ml and Cannazym 1.5ml. Total EC of the entire mix is 800~850 EC. Then I lower PH to 5.8 and water my 5gal fabric pot, 80/20 coco & perlite. Light is 650ppfd on the canopy
Have been doing this since my plant started to show the yellow spots you will see in the photos I posted. The plant continue to grow fast and it's getting very bushy since I introduced LST in the middle of week 3. It completed 4 weeks today (since germination)
