420’s Perfect Sun Led Goliath V2 1 Alaskan Purple DWC 420’s West Hippie Grows

Looking good @West Hippie

How do you like the vegetative growth during flower to produce more bud sites?

I just placed my Green Crack back on 12/12 and the Golden Tiger is on 11/13. I am very happy with the results I seen in her growth and will do this again come September. Hopefully I can get a better light by then, or it will be my TSW-2000.

I downloaded the same app on my phone and plan on getting a decent meter by then.

The test I was doing is under much smaller LED's, but interested to see how you come along with that monster LED you have.

Stay safe, and grow well my friend,
Tok..
Have you checked out Rider’s 14/10 thread excellent read .
Not seeing much yet from day one .
Once the meter matched my lux meter seemed to work fine once I went to dli .
Went out last night and could tell the the light was curling the edges . All I had was my lux meter so I moved it all up to 50-52k lux . Fixing to go check them will have a report shortly.

Haven’t finished day two of 21.36 on/ 12 off
Penny looks different this morning since raising the light , have 2” left to move the light up . I’m trying to use my 420 stickers to get close to the same pic ! I’ll post yesterday’s next to today’s post .

Water temp 71.8
Water level down 1-1/2 gallon Falling
Ph 6.2 was 6.0 Rising change tomorrow I’m out of energy at the moment.

What Jon said about Rexer!

Keep in mind that Rider was running far red pucks to shut down the plants quicker, enabling him to run that light schedule.

He talks about it starting here.
Thanks @InTheShed i did read this , luckily my kind led k5 supports this and it’s the blue light that’s out . I need to put the tent back up and try that one also . It has the timer and the dimming slowly features.

Whoa on the root porn! I had to blank my screen in case someone walked in.

Oil sprays will do that!
Wished there dual emoji’s so I could laugh and say thanks at the same time. Before I got the 209 I sprayed up from the bottom with cold pressed neem that got them the first time . The SNS PC wasn’t oil base it’s a detergent. I sprayed it on the OO kush grow just forgot!
Running behind ,got to get busy went did another Covid test still negative. Still feel like I have the flu . They shut the school down because of the flu !

04/07/2022 day 36 since flip . I read doing the light manipulation will add time before I chop , here is more info that @InTheShed found for us !
. This strain is new to me Alaskan Purple.
Penny
TDS 925 ppm was 1136 ppm Falling
Water temp 70.9
Water level down 2+ gallons Falling
Ph 5.7 was 5.4 Rising
Came back out at lights out and did a foliage spray with SNS 209 . I’d put 4 mL a gallon in the tote , 72 mL . I didn’t put any Z7 or hydroguard was afraid that the 209 might mess with them ? ? ?

Looking good. With those massive roots, she should get to two pounds, if the strain allows for big dense buds.
We have done it twice with one plant, different strains. We should hopefully hit over 2lbs for 1 Critical+ (Dinafem) this time.

Goliath V2 can do it for sure. Our goal is to get 3 pounds from one plant.

Thanks , In all the reviews it showed Alaskan Purple was a big yielder . There’s another four weeks minimum on her , 9 weeks in flower . Said indoors 550 grams outside 1700 grams a plant so it sounds promising.
And moving the goal up great work !

Wow. One plant in what size space? 3 pounds. I can't even imagine. It's hard enough to imagine West's plants, but I see them so I know they're real. Lol.

Hey @West Hippie, I have a question for you. Maybe I should know this, not sure. But it seems you have given these girls (various ones or maybe all, not sure) larger totes as they've grown. Obviously to accommodate the size/mass of the roots. I get that I *think.*

But you knew from the start you were going to grow huge plants, right?

So I'm wondering why the change in sizes? Why not just begin in the largest size you'll need? It seems like what you've done is the hydro equivalent of up potting.

?

Thanks!

Said the wolf to the AP, "My, what a big root ball you have." :)

No I wasn’t prepared to change the totes . I should have known better, I’m looking at better made totes also this one when filled bows out making it fall in if I’m not careful! So I’m not out of the woods yet !
