CFL - Bag Seed - Soil - First Grow

I would never buy a clone when I have my own plant. Try cloning and see for yourself. How to Clone a Cannabis Plant Yes you can re-veg a flowering cutting, it takes time but you have lots while you wait for your girl to finish flowering.

I prefer starting from seed myself.

oh i'm sorry i didn't mean i was buying a clone, i am selling a clone to a friend who is a grower.. i was asking an approx price.. on my very first cloning session, i was 50% successful. took 4 and 2 survived. one's been transplanted into the ground at a friends house, and the second one someone wants to buy. saw how beautiful the mom was and said he had to try.. i didn't know what the going price was for a healthy guaranteed fem 6" 3 node clone. any clues..

sooo again nothing really to report other then lots of hair growth last night.. i mean like it looks like a hair bomb exploded on each bud site.. the water leaves and sugar leaves are all starting to get frosty.. also it appears that the outer portions of the leaves are turning a dark blue hue.. now the nugs that this game from were purple, so hopefully these will do the same..

heres the full on bud porn..

so there ya go.. just beautiful.. still looking as even as possible on the entire canopy.. it's so hard.. i'm probably gonna drop another 2 inches either tonight before sleep, or tomorrow morning. there pretty close.. it's incredible how much she's grown in her stretch. over 9 inches so far.. lol thats insane..

anyways.. thought comments or concerns? i think we are in auto pilot for the mean time.. i love it..

Clones run $10-$30, depending on who is selling it, what region it's being sold in, and what strain it is. Obviously the more popular strains are more, and the less desirable strains would be much less.

His level of friendship will also help dictate price. If he's a good friend, or someone who can help you out in the future, I'd consider lowering the price a lot. If he's just an acquaintance, I'd be near retail. It also depends on how well he's helped you in the past. If he overcharges you for things, I'd stick to business and do the same for him.

Perfect answers guys.. you guys all rock.. the professionalism in the answers you give.. it's really awesome guys.. this kid is actually a friend of a friend. He lives in a different major city around 1.5 hours away. he considers himself a "professional grower" self proclaimed of course, stating he does around 3-5 lbs a month.. now if i believe all his information, mehhhh.. do i think he's gonna be able to help me down the road, most def. says he runs a house with 10 1000w hps set ups.. so i wouldn't call him a friend.. but i would call him someone i dont' totally want to rip off.. lol so he's getting the last little girl for $50. In the state of uncoolness that i live, clones are much more expensive because it's all illegal. in my neck of the woods it appears that people are willing to pay between $25-$80 per.. so it's good to know.. i mean i was gonna throw em in my cuttings bag in the freezer for the hash making later.. i'd rather dump those off through out the grow just to support the habit.. I'm finding electric in my state is pretty damn expensive.. I'm finding running 150w of cfl's i'm paying around $2.5-$3.75 a day added.. these deregulated states are fuckers.. they charge you whatever they want, changing the price every month.. smh..

so i'm traveling for a 7 days at the end of this month, and once i return, i will be ordering the 2 300W LED from top led. the one that king showed me. i do like the upgraded spectrum (no sense in buying old technology i guess) as well as those switches that allow the spectrum to be changed on each light. My idea is 300w for veg and 300w for flower. that way i can keep a contentious supply of meds coming.. if i got the lights with at the price of $280 i'd still only be in around $400 bucks.. still not bad. and when harvesting time comes if i wanna let others enjoy my crop it's very very VERY easy to get $60/8th for decent flower.. so it should be tooo hard. SO i woke up this morning and these cola's are looking nice and yummy.. and the hairs. oh lord the hairs.. yuuuuuum.. they are still stretching. probably around .25" from the light when she woke up. silly plants gonna burn herself again.. ok i'm stoned i gotta go to work.. happy thursday yallllll..

thanks for the advice king. i do like that one better, but it's also 40 or so dollars more expensive.. but i like how i can have both veg and flower light in one light.. damn that money thing.. always holding me back.. lol.. no i'll probably go with that.. i mean thats the equivalent to 300W hps of MH bulb right? so if i have 2, one for veg and one for flower, is that the same as a 600w bulb or no, cause it's in 2 different places.. can someone elaborate here? also i was approached by a friend of a friend to sell some clones. i was going to do a few flowering clones as i'm on day 22 right now. i have alot of little growth on the bottom i was gonna chop. now on the flowering clones, how long will the rooting take, and can they be put back over into veg mode to grow. i see how beautiful this plant is now, and i'd love to preserve her genes alittle.. any idea's here guys.

The 96x3 watt panel will not run at full power in vegetative growth, only when you flower you use both switches for flower and the full power of the LED light panel. You should rate a LED light panel by its actual power draw and LED light panels based on coverage area. You can take cuttings from your flowering cannabis plan to root as clones, the clones will take longer to root and require a longer period to re vegetate before growing.

hahaha there you go king, settin' me straight again.. lol thank you kind sir.. thank you..

so lemme just get this straight..

when it says:
LED Output Power: 96*3watt
it really is still only the input power which would be----Draw Power:170~200W

so this is really equivalent to a 200w system? HPS or MH or CFL?
now when you say only full power in flower, what kind of watts am i looking at in veg??

i'm just trying to find the happy medium to electric use and watts, using the calculations to harvest. 100W difference is a whole lot. so thank you for explaining this.

now the recommended height from the plant is:
Recommended height above plant is 12-36 inches depending on different wattage of the light

the spaces i'm working with are
VEG
35"x38.5"x24"
FLOWER
40"x38.5"x24"

so with the lights mounted to the top of the cabs, and me moving the plants up to the light, kinda similar to what i'm doing now with the CFL's would these lights be sufficient for the space.

i'm thinking around 3 plants max per cab?

now regarding the clones, do i need to do anything different? do i leave the flower on the top? or can i just cut like i did before rootech em, then right into water...

Thanks again for your wealth of knowledge king john.. you are my cannabis yoda.. hahahahaha

So when i opened the case she was hitting the lights, and looked super bushy. alot of the inside growth was being shaded.. so i did the 21 day defol at day 24.. lolol i only took 31 leaves.. i think she looks MUCH better...

now quesiton, will all this fill in?
20140814_093704.jpg

and then of course those cola shots..

hahaha any comments.. questions or concerns? do you think i did too much or not enough? thoughts here?

Looking great PositiveGrape! Now is the time she really needs the higher wattage of light. If possible add as much as you can if you want to bulk up her buds! Thats some crazy stretch! I knew she would at least double in size!

Im also thinking about placing a order very soon for one also! I need something more for my two soil papaya's. Im still debating on the 900watt mars 2 or the 96*3 reflector... Im guessing the same one you are looking at. Price of course is playing a part in my decision. Im looking to get one over the next couple of months for sure!

If you have the cash i would for sure say go for it! it will really help your girl out.

please tell me this isn't what i think it is.. did this plant go herm over night.. or is this just a swollen calyx?
i only found one of these on the 2 node from the top, an offshoot.. so are there more to come? at first i thought it was a male reproductive part, but not that i'm googling the shit out of it, i think it's just a swollen calyx.. can someone please but my mind at ease..

edit:they kinda look like calyxes that haven't had the pistols come out yet.. am i just wishful thinking here?
also sorry for the shitty pics.. my phone is deciding to be retarded for some reason.. it's feeling my pain here.. hahaha wahhh....

If you look back through the beginning and up until now, she's been through some stress. Maybe the more you play with her the boy wants to come out and play too, I hope it's not a sac. Stay positive Grape!

A LED light panel will provide your plants with a lot more usable light then using Compact Florescent Lights to illuminate your grow area. The 93x3 watt Top LED Grow Light LED light panels appear to work well with cannabis plants. The light from LED light panels is a based on the a range of spectrum's that are usable by plants Photosynthetic Active Radiation and is not completely comparable to the light given from Compact Florescent Lights or High Intensity Discharge lights. Usually the equivalency of a LED light panels is compared to High Pressure Sodium lights.

Hosebomber is very knowledgeable with lighting and has given these recommendations

"The following is a MINIMUM light requirement for productive growth in the vegetative stage:
CFL: 42.25 watts per square foot
HPS/MH: 32.5 watts per square foot
LED: 22.75 watts per square foot

The following is a MINIMUM light requirement for productive growth in the flowering stage:
CFL: 65 watts per square foot
HPS/MH: 50 watts per square foot
LED: 35 watts per square foot"

@Hosebomber

Here is an excellent guide to lighting

The Basics Of Plant Lighting

What is the size of your grow area?

I use rope ratchets to raise and lower my lights.

Light Hangers 1/8" Pair - Perfect Gardens

Leave the top branches of your plant and take cuttings from the bottom of your plant to root as clones.

Your plant is a hermaphrodite and has both pistils and male pollen sacks. If you wish to continue your grow with this plant I would remove the male pollen sacks from your plant.

thats what i thought.. now should i remove the entire branch or just the sacks? i only pulled 6 sacs off.. whats your recommendations here? is this gonna spread to the entire plant? is it because of stress that this happened, cause it's clearly been producing flowers for the last 25 days.

it was all going soo welllll..
