Hello there,
I've waited for what seems like ages to start typing this, but we're here now and without further adieu I'd like to welcome you to my first ever grow journal.
A little about me:
This isn't my first grow. I've grown a few different autos using soil and cfls and hps, but never with an LED or coco. So this is new and exciting for me. I grew some very tasty flowers in the past so my intention for this grow is quality over quantity, however quantity will be sought and strived for. I have a couple of mental health "problems" and I find cannabis is the only truly effective way of getting some relief. So I'd just love a couple of jars of nice flowers that will last me until my next crop is ready and I no longer need to visit the pusherman.
About the grow-
Strain - Tropicanna Bananna by Barney's Farm
Medium - Organic Coco & Perlite (80/20%)
Light source - 150w Kingbo LED purchased from amazon for £55. Looks great, hopefully it will do for the whole grow, if not a couple of smaller LED bulbs can definitely be added.
Tent size - 40cm x 40cm x 120cm. Very small! Perfect for my needs but also presents challenges , especially considering my strain is sativa dominant.
Nutrients - Megacrop. Pure and simple, just following their feeding chart and will tweak where needed. I have to filter my water with a makeshift water filter that my girlfriend expertly crafted (it doesn't look good but it works damn well and is only temporary.)
The story so far -
So I would be a liar if I said that everything so far had gone swimmingly. There have been a couple of issues that have been sorted or at least on their way to being sorted.
Firstly I pre soaked the coco with a nute mix that was about 20x stronger than it should have been
