Josh 4.75

Looking good! Is that last leaf a single finger leaf? I've been struggling with some of my clones growing single finger leads and flower while under 24/7 light lol.

Oh wow that kush looks kinda funky! Loving your set up and sorry to hear about your cold problems.

Seeds routinely survive dry and cold (-20c or about 0f) so don't worry to much about seeds in transit unless your worried about the seeds never arriving. Thats a much more real concern.

As for your little light kerfuffle wouldn't worry about it to much. Once in a life time it shouldn't hurt, now if you want some feminized seeds ;)

Looking forward to this.

Everything looks good and healthy:thumb:, Mr Squyrlly said that roots do not like light exposure (light colored containers). He maybe lied, your plants are thriving in clear pots, do the roots that reach the clear sides stay white? or do they stop growing when they see light? Just curious if this is fact. Great share! Let us know. thanks

Naw, you guys are missing my point. I did do 2 coats of matte black Rustoleum, but only to the bottom of the label.

See if I can find a gallery pic to illustrate.

See it? The bottoms are rattle-canned. I don't have any algae in the top of the mix. Mold seems to be my nemesis. Until I move and buy new tents, it's just going to be one of those variables that I deal with.

I lurk hard on your journals, cajuncelt . I'm all about knowledge and research. I was thunkin' I gave you REPS a couple hrs ago. If not I'll give you some more now!

7.62/.308?

...the magazine has me perplexed. Camera angle, etc...Looks like a large M-14 size extraction port. That curve in the mag is throwing me. Looks too short for a .30 cal.

What ever caliber it is, it looks like a beautiful tool in my eyes. Did you do the camo yourself? Just saying, looks great.

:cheer:

I'm callin' 5.56 Nato as per the thickness of the barrel and the banana mag curl. Maybe 6.5 Creedmore...

I'll put a few pics of my duty rifle if anyone is interested. First Gen Ruger 556. It's stock other than feed ramp polishing but I have the Leupold HAMR w/Delta Point. I get touching 3-shot groups out of a hot barrel @100yards with 55 grain Hornaday TAP ammo.

I'm actually looking to expand some things. Took the wifey through hunter's ed last spring.

lol...she is a biologist for our state's fish and wildlife department. I hate to admit it, but she's a better shot than myself.

I run a 7 mm Rem Mag for big game. Like I said, she's a great shot. But the recoil gets to her. I'm looking to get her a personal rifle for next year. Leaning strongly to a Rem 700 SPS in .308. Seems to be the best value/quality compromise.

Hello josh.. Jus read thru all your journals..good growing!!! Ive been running hempies for about 2 years and youll be fine germing in solo cups i'd just add a lil bit of dirt or soiless dirt at about an in and a half from the top for stem stability. Only takes a week or so for the roots to hit the lil res..then boom explosive growth. Seeds, iill only leave in solos for two weeks tops..then transplant.. Clones, ive left them in solos for up to a month with no ill effects...

Stay frosty.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll be aright. I'm thinking as long as the medium is wet enough to utilize the capillary/wick effect, those rots will explode. (Fingers crossed).

Making a major order tomorrow. New nutes. Have to hold off, again, for LEDS. Worse case scenario I'll be lit up with LD after tax return.

Not sure about ya'll, but I need to put something in the air.

:Namaste:

Well, things are humming along. The first clones in the tent seem to have finished with the stretch. I can't see any nanners. Still hoping and praying I'll FINALLY have a seedless indoor harvest. Going to do a defoil tomorrow.

I was planning to make an order from Perfect Gardens today but my paycheck didn't show in the mail. I'm extremely nervous about switching nutrient brands. I really dislike Botanicare's online nutrient calculator. Basically, it doesn't work quite right. You can plug in your base and then add pick and mix additional additives. Well, I put in Kind for the base, 1 week veg, 9 weeks flower, and 5 gallons for reservoir size. I want to also use their Sweet product. The "calculator bumps the PPM's to 2030. What kind of calculator is that?

I don't know. I'm inclined to stay with the old brand. But the owner lied to me over the phone. The first order had a product missing. I emailed him including my cell #. He called me right back on a Saturday. "I need all of your contact information to reship because we don't save those records". How come I've received three sales promotions via private email? I don't deal with liars.

I guess the logical thing would be to post in the FAQ section asking if anyone has any advice. Problem is that it's pretty new. I've only run across one other person using it and I don't remember the name. I should mention that I am horrible with names. With the line of work I do, and two jobs, I can easily meet 100 people a week. There's one guy that I've worked with for around four months. Still can't remember the guy's name.

It's looking like I'll be having close to a month off so I'm going to be on here more. Other than porn, this is my favorite website.

:welcome:

Yeah, this is the current grow. Just getting started, Friday will be day 28 since the flip for the first clones. I'm going to be doing some upgrades as I can afford. Also adding some new strains and am going to try to go perpetual.

Man, I've had a completely opposite experience with the Kind line. I was using GO before. I won the Kind set from a grow show. They claimed & tried to explain why/how it's so customizable. I finally got it & have been using it.I like the fact that I can customize it for a specific plant or strain without goofing up the macroenvironment or locking up. The online calc is goofy. If ECs are too high, you'll have to reduce manually by clicking in the specific boxes. So to use Sweet for example & it shows way heavy ppm/ec, you will reduce the Bloom. It would be nice if it did it automatically like it claims, but it doesn't

Thank you cajunelt for sharing your experience with Kind. I posted a question in FAQs last night. Then I went back to the nutrient calculator. Right under that is a link to Predeveloped Recipes. I'm thinking I'm going to go with the Enhanced Hydro routine because the Advanced Hydro calls for 11 components. Here's the link: Predeveloped Recipes
