Looks good, man. Clean setup. I've got a whole room going, but I'm starting to think about dividing it up a bit for better climate control.

Great setup! Love the buds. Can I ask why you chose to use 100% perlite? I'm going to do some hempy autos soon and I'm looking to try perlite, but I can't decide if I want to 3 to 1 with vermiculite or 100% perlite.

I started using 100% perlite because I was broke. I kept using it because I see no reason to change it. I think the vermiculite is more to keep moisture even. With watering/feeding every day I have seen no reason to add it. I could see it probably being great for trying to water every other day.
Now I could be all wrong but it works for me. Plus the money that you would spend on a big bag of vermiculite could buy another bag of perlite. $30 for 4 cubic feet is not a bunch of cash but still. To each there own I guess... It's more about what works for you!

With soil I water till I see some leak out the bottom, but with the hempy bucket do just poor a set amount or till you see some drainage? I know the Res at the bottom is the point so I don't want to ruin that.

I have my feeds fairly dialed in, days 1: 6oz, 2: 4oz, 3: 6oz, 4: 4oz, 5: 6oz, 6: 4oz, 7: flush normally 6oz. This way I only get about 10% run off.

I truly beleve that you will fall in love with the ease of the 2liter hempy. Plus you can use them with great results in small cabs with low head room.
You are more than welcome to ask me anything, and I will do my best to answer it!
As for clones are you going to buy or grow them? I would recommend atleast one mother, to keep some good genetics around.
Is the my first hempy go at the 2liter hempy... Kinda, sorta, not so much... I have been running straight hemp's(- the moms) for about a year now. (give or take).

i think i already have fallen in love with the idea of the set up.
Im intended on using one of my PPP that is in vegatative stage right now as a mother to cut lots and lots of clones from. Tryin to make here a bonsai mom.
Now you said you keep your mother in 100% perlite? what kind of pot is it in? and do you find you have to water it more than you would a soil based medium

A bonsai mom would be great. I am slowly trimming my back down to a bonsai size. (slowly but still a goal) I have heard good things abot the PPP, never had any though...
Now if I miss spoke or not idk. But my mothers are kept in 3gal black pots filled with FF Happy Frog soil. I normally water them twice a week, and every two weeks I feed them a 5ml. Micro, Bloom, Grow, and 1/8tsp supertrive/gal.

That lead me to believe you had the moms in a hempy type medium. but you just explained yourself. Feed them once a week. Sounds good thanks bro!

I have seen people use 4 inch square pots for longterm moms. You would just need to root prune more often, but it can be done. Wish I could remember the journal... It was some older guy that lives in the booneys. He ran a perpetual grow with mini plants in a small cfl cab. I beleave that his mothers were bonsai style in 4 in square pots. I'll see if I can't find it.

Ok so I was alittle off about the pot size but not to much, but ya. I did find the journal but it's on a dif fourm... So I will just post his name an you all can google it. "drbudgreengenes" the journal I'm talking about is from 06 when he is in his cabin. Frickn a great read about micro grows and well dialed in to boot!

KeepItTRU welcome abord, and Thank you so mch for the kind words! I hope you in for the long hall, as I will keep this journal going for a min!
I do plan on a new journal once I get all my new toys in hand... Stuff is just so expensive! Hell a few days ago I busted the semipermeable globe on my ph meter. $50 bucks and 3-4 days later I will have my replacement probe in hand. I guess atleat I can swap out the busted one for a new one and not have to buy the whole meter again. Tis a plus for sure! So now I have to use my spare and it, well it sucks! New part should be here sat.

Ok i got this weeks update ready-ish, i still have a few girls that it is harvest time for. I will be doing a 2 part update today, so please feel free to stop back by a little later on.
So here we go with update 1 of 2.
Wow i have a few things going on right now, i have 48 girls in flower, clones rooting in mini-hempys, 4 full size mothers, and 3 moms to be. I had to hold off on taking more clones as i am really out of room. It will be about 2 weeks from today that i will take more clones, as this is the next harvest for me.(i will have a little room again.)
Here we have my mothers and moms to be. The older mothers recieved a hefty hair cut, as i am trying to get there size back down. They were just to bushy for my cab. They should be easier to deal with now, i hope...
