Ma, she's looking BEAUTIFUL! Best way to determine if you need to water is dipping your finger in the soil, up to your first/second knuckle to check moisture and to lift the pot to determine its weight. Dry and light, water. Moist and heavy, don't. Nothing wrong with watering every day or two if your girls are requesting it. You're doing an awesome job man! Can't wait to see your harvest.

Day 77 Update!

Good morning 420ers!
Bubba got a haircut on half her flowers yesterday before bedtime as per the LA's Guide to Simple Backbuilding thread. Thanks LA for that technique!
The temps and humidity are getting higher outside, I am finding it necessary at this point to run my A/C pretty much all day, to keep my temps and RH in range. Not a problem, just more power draw. It's been nice so far this summer as this is really the first time this has been an issue.

Took a few pics this morning while Bubba was in the closet, just before the LED kicked on. Hope you enjoy the bud porn.

Day 77 Bubba

So Bubba is mid week 6 flower of a supposedly 8-10 week flower. When would you all start to flush her. Do you all think straight water is enough or should i get the flush product (fox farms?)

MaPilot, Is everything ok? Im sure it is im just used to your daily updates and wanted to check on ya! Yes plain water will be ok but i have heard good things about the flushing products. I used just plain water for my flush but mine was hydro so im not sure. I will also use plain water when its time for my soil flush.

Tadlawid, Her buds are like rocks! very dense!!! I'm loving it. Her top cola is getting FAT. It may end up being wider than it is tall! LOL.

Update day 79! Bubba starts her 7th week of flower today. She is looking strong and is growing some rock hard fat buds! All is good.

Haha Buck. I guess shes about 30ish inches... I don't think Ive done anything special except maybe listen to all the great knowledgeable folks on here!

So I found a new problem. When trying to look at the trichs through my magnifier, my hand moves too much and it makes it impossible to get a good look... Any ideas?

Do you wear glasses? You can get a jeweler loupe that clips on them or a lighted hands-free loupe. I did a search on Jeweler Loupe/glass hands-free. Hope you find something. Plant looks great!

MaPilot, My technique I take the bud and cup it with my left hand, take my right hand with my loop and set it on my fingers from my left hand while still cupping the bud and use my thumb and pointer finger to inspect with the loop. This gives you a steady hand and you can look where ever you want to. Dont be scared to touch them buds!!! Put some gloves on if you wish. I use the the blue nitrile exam gloves anytime handling my buds. Not only do i wear them for sanitation reason i do it to keep the sticky oil off my hands haha! Hope this helps and you can get a idea of how i do it.
