Hello 420!

September 2020 I dropped my first seeds. It's hard to believe this is where I started...

Here's some of my highlights

first seedling - Cookie Wreck Auto

She grew up so fast!

Next up was my gorgeous Durban Poison - Photo (from seed)

She had the most beautiful colors

OG Geist Twins - Photo (clones)

The buds were too heavy to stand on their own

The buds were kinda larfy but kicked like a mule

It blows my mind to think I've cultivated nearly 2 lbs of weed over the past 2 years

I had a fairly major surgery on my neck back at the end of June and haven't been able to get setup for my next grow yet. Hopefully you'll see the new journal go up within the next few weeks. I've got some Northern Lights and Alaskan Thunder Fuck seeds I'm pretty excited about. Unfortunately, I've had bad luck starting seeds. If anyone wants to pass along some sage advise (and maybe a tutorial) I would be most grateful

Again I just want to express my gratitude to everyone that's helped me out on this journey. I apologize in advance for anyone I've left out. I tip my hat to you all and wish you the best.

In terms of starting seeds I have found the most important thing is temperature. Mine live at 80°F from the time they're dropped in water until they sprout from the peat pucks.

I'll definitely keep an eye on the temp. I've discovered I needed to calibrate my temp / humidity sensors and testing is looking I've also taken others advice and bought a bag of rapid rooters. I figure with all the $ I'm already giving GH I should probably purchase some of their stock

Your shed looks like mine did before I totally re-did it. I should have just bought a new one. All I did was put lipstick on a pig so to speak. It works just fine, but it's still a broken down shed under the cosmetics.
So what kind of grow is this ? It looks like RDWC, but not positive. Ooops... never mind. Just seen your next pics. Answered that question.... lol.
I'm old school on starting seeds. I just pop a seed into a cup of soil 1/4" deep & water. In 2-3 days I get a sprout. They germ. 99% of the time with no problem. But since you are Hydro, soil wont work for you. The Rapid rooters will probably work the same way though.

There is one answer that has eluded me these past 2 years...How long is a burp?

I mean...I know how many times per day and how many weeks to burp. But, how long do you actually leave the lid of the container each time you burp?

That completely depends on the difference in RH between the closed jar and the outside air! 70% inside the jar and 20% outside means you can't burp long without the buds drying out. 5-10 minutes should be plenty since it's really just an air exchange. Less time if you use turkey bags since you can open them up more than jars.

ok...the method I've been using I use glass tupperware w/ sealing lids. I've just been transferring from 1 container to the next and putting the lid right back on. Guess I need to slow my roll
