Aloha Grown With Sunny

Things will start picking up again when everyone comes back from Summer. Most of our indoor growers don't want to spend the money on AC for indoor growing in Summer, it's always our slowest part of the year. Thanks for keeping us updated, we all love you and your grows :thanks:

Sending you all lots of love from Hawaii as always
Right back at ya, Sunny:love:
Great to see you, man-
That's some beautiful weed you've got going!

Missed you posting Sunny, always excellent flowers from the island. I know you were making some crosses, everything going good braddah?
All Respect hope you and family well bro

@GainesvilleGreen Aloha my Braddah and mahalo for the kind words. Also my apologies for the late response

:thanks: Yes I been making my own crosses and working them to be acclimated to my humid and sometimes very challenging growing environment outdoors here in Puna Hawaii. It’s paradise but also a rain forest so Botrytis/bud rot and mold can be a absolute nightmare. It’s a slow process but rewarding work. Sending nothing but love and respect right back to you and I hope all is blessed.

Mahalo my Braddah! I don’t blame them for not wanting large electric bills. Hawaii probably has the most expensive electric in the country lol.. I have retired my indoor setup for now and have been growing strictly outdoors using the Hawaiian Sunshine. I’m getting by just fine. Just gotta adapt and overcome.

Right back at ya, Sunny:love:

Aloha Carcass  I hope all is well my Braddah! I wish I could get you properly stoned off some of my homegrown. One day perhaps but for now the pictures will have to do my friend! I hope all is blessed with you and family!

Aloha brother stone otter

Aloha my friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful turkey day filled with yummy food and loved ones to share the day with. It was a quiet holiday over here since I ended up working but I made a nice dinner spread after work for me and my kids and we slept in the next day haha Pumpkin pie with a huge dollop of whip cream on the top is my favorite.

Yes the volcano Mauna Loa is erupting and the glow from the night sky is absolutely beautiful. We are safe for now. The lava is about a hour drive away from my house and doesn’t seem to be moving in this direction.

This photo was taken tonight while me and my kids were standing in the garden. Eerie feeling but also a beautiful sight to see the sky glowing orange from the lava.

Anywhooo just some shots below of some medicine grown in organic soil and Hawaiian Sunshine.. can’t forget the love I give them as well. I do bring the plants under cover when I know it’s going to rain. I see no sense in allowing them to get drenched then complain about bud rot later lol..

I hope everyone and your families are safe and strong mentally and physically. Sending you all nothing but lots of love and respect from Hawaii as always  Aloha!

Aloha Bill! Good to see you as well and mahalo for stopping by. Mahalo for the kind words brother. I hope all is blessed with you my friend! Aloha!

Thought of you when the news showed us the volcano going off Sunny! Your garden sure looks nice! I hope things settle soon and all stays well!

Aloha Stone! I tell you the news sure makes it sound worst then it really is. It’s a absolutely stunning watching the lava fountain into the night sky.. Thankfully the lava is flowing in a unpopulated area of the island where it can be viewed at a safe distance. Mahalo for the kind words my brother and I hope all is blessed with you and ohana out east

Beautiful grow and pictures, I only got to enjoy true Hawaiian weed a couple of times and was one of the best high’s ever. CL🍀

Aloha Sunny. Wow, such beautiful island grown bud. :thumb:
Pele is showing her stuff.

Aloha stinker! Mahalo for the kind words and stopping by  Indeed, pele was putting on a show. It was quite amazing while it lasted. Happy new year my brother! Aloha!

Aloha Captain Lucky!

Mahalo for stopping by my friend. I’d gladly get you stoned if I could. Hawaiian sungrown is some amazing medicine and I am grateful to enjoy this plant and all it provides. I hope all is blessed! Aloha!

We're seeing the lava flow on the news, I'm glad it's staying away from the populated areas, all the best and keep safe Sunny!

Aloha Stunger,

Yes they were reporting on it pretty heavily. It can be frustrating because a lot of us island folks have family on the mainland and it just adds unnecessary worry for them. The lava has stopped now so things are back to normal I suppose. I hope you and ohana had a wonderful Christmas my brother and happy new year! Aloha!

Aloha friends and Happy New Year!

I hope this new year brings you and your families nothing but happiness, strength and abundance spiritually, mentally and physically. It was a relatively calm holiday for us over here. I just made a bunch of food for me and my kids and we ate and slept most of the day on top some fireworks here and there.

Just thought I’d add a few plant shots of what’s growing outside. Nothing fancy just recycled organic soil in some 1 gallon pots for now.

I run solar lights over them at night to extend the growing cycle a bit longer for size and over all maturity before allowing them to flower out naturally.

Being so close to the equator we are essentially in a constant state of 12/12 give or take a hour depending on the time of year.

I’ll sort out the males and females as they show and plant the females in 7 gallon fabric pots to flower. I could get away with smaller pots but my life gets super busy with work and my kids so the bigger pots allow me to not have to water so often. Everything gets fed rain water and organic teas I brew once a week for the entire life cycle of the plant.

If I can share anything I have learned over the years growing with anyone reading this just ask away  always stoked to share and learn just the same.

This was some beautiful outdoor grown medicine from last harvest. It is a cross I made last year that I’ve been testing. I call it Kalakoa Sky because of all the colors she shows as she fades before harvest.

Till next time my friends! Sending you all lots of love and respect from Puna District, Big Island of Hawaii

Aloha Friends

I hope this finds you all feeling strong physically, mentally with many reasons to smile

Just some nug porn today if you are all inclined to check it out. This is Skitty’s Cherry Slyder x Matanuska Thunderfuck grown outdoor under the Hawaiian Sunshine in organic soil. Seeds were gifted to me from a kind soul to try and of course I’m gonna throw them in so dirt.

Very powerful medicine from head to toe. Immediate onset of effects lol.. I was coughing like a just took a dab but the smoke was super smooth before the explosion in my lungs. Whole body buzzing off half a cone. Flavor coming through was dark cherry and sweet earthy funk.

I smoked the other half of the cone before bed and had a deep sleep and vivid dreams. Beautiful medicine to experience

I hope you all have nothing short of a blessed day today. Sending you all lots of love and respect from Puna District, Big Island of Hawaii! Aloha!

Aloha friends!

I hope this finds you all strong physically, spiritually and mentally with many reasons to smile :)

Small update on the vegging plants from my earlier post. They are really biting into the recycled organic soil and have grown considerably.

Everything pictured are females besides the a male I kept to flower out and get a idea of what to expect from the female of the same strain. Looks to be a heavy producer.

Wishing you all nothing but happiness and health. Sending lots of love and respect from Hawaii as always! Aloha!

Hi, Sunny- Thanks for the update! :thumb:
That big ol' male is even showing you a little purple...
And the ladies are loving their little spot in paradise...
I grew a six foot male a few years back-but I uprooted him when he started flowering- if any of my close neighbors were growing weed, I didn't want him to possibly screw it up for them..:)

Aloha Carcass!

Excellent point my brother :D That could be disastrous. Thankfully I don’t have many neighbors at all. My lot is surrounded by rain forest and I keep the males down wind of my flowering females. Haven’t had any problems and keeping males around for pollen is how I can acclimate the varieties to my micro climate.

I don’t plan to keep pollen from this particular one and he will get culled but he provided some insight on what to expect from the female I have flowering. I hear you though my friend and appreciate it. Wow 6 feet is huuuuuge for a male plant. I imagine he had huge plant parts as well lol

They're looking an absolute picture of health!

Mahalo my brother I certainly do my best to keep them happy! I hope all is blessed! Aloha!
