Hey everyone, I'm currently on day 5 of drying my white widow and she's starting to smell like hay and a bit crispy on the outside, but the stems don't snap. My grow room is down to 35% humidity now (45% at the start). Temp 68 degrees F.
Should I wait a few more days and then put into jars OR cut down now and put in paper bags? Not sure how the paper bags work

I'm not a hang dryer person but do u have the little RH meters for yer jars???

I do mine in the fridge, may try that for a few days
Put em in paper bags, or jars with no lid on.
Is how I do them, or, jar em with the meter 1st to see the RH, and if it's high try the fridge

I used to hang for 7 days then paper bag for 7 days then jar. Turns out great. My thing is no want no mold. Its not too humid where Im at.
This is what I changed to last year and its the best.........dude at the grow shop said cure in Turkey Bags. After reading Nebulas method I changed to this. Trim all fan leaves and hang. Soon as the lil branches brake but the big ones still are bendy I turkey bag them with a humidity meter. I close the bag up and burp it daily. I wait till the meter hits a steady 60% humidity then I jar and its ready! Nebula talks about the hay smell I think so go see cause theres a reason. The turkey bags make it easy to cure/burp a pound at a time instead of burping 60 jars. This method works great. All my jars are the perfect moistness in the end. 40 yrs of smoking and dident know about glass jar storage until 5 yrs ago or so. Incredible what the long term storage in jars does to the pot. Ive got jars over a year old and it gets better and stonier.

Hey guys so I live in Florida an I'm about to get hit with this hurricane if the power goes out what do I do to keep my baby girl alive. I'm using an indoor tent setup with led lights

What age is it? Hopefully if it is a day or two you'll be ok. East or west coast? I'm on northeast coast .
Looks good to me. A tad clawed, but hell for your first grow I give you 3 thumbs up enjoy those huge nugs! And great job with your first grow! Imagine what the next will look like now that you have experienceHey guys

I live in Miami. She's about a month old just really hoping for the best because I've had a hard time getting my girls to sprout so it would suck if this one is going good and then a hurricane came and fucked it all up. Btw I'm going skunk diesel

No I'm saying like it's in a tent with led powered lights if power goes out and it's raining and windy af outside. When I say wind I'm talking like 100+ mph winds my little plant will get blown away do you guys recommend that I keep it near a window.... I might have to keep it on my patio screened in because I'll have shutters up
