I just come home from work, naturally the first thing i did was to look to my baby...
Now 2 impressions hit me.
1 - Holy shiiiaaat the buds have doubled or even trippled the last 2 days!
2 - on second look, i start noticing my leaves got this kind of yellowing happening in between the veins.. going from the older leaves, the younger looks pretty unaffected so far.
Now either she's gotten too much of something or else she has just eaten so much of her nutes the last two days that she's had to eat herself as well lol? What do you guys think?
I'm really in doubt at the moment, because i originally wanted to give plain water this time, but if she's hungry i guess i gotta give her even more?
Here's pics, mostly regular lighting and a couple LED's
i really need some help on what to do asap guys, cause her home is almost cracking-dry, gotta give her something tonight!
possibly too little but there are other deficiencies that look same early on so hard to tell. Earth Worm Castings (EWC) are generally safe to apply and will help with N if it is deficient but won't hurt anything either if it's not N. EWC is also good for Mg and other nutrients but organic so very safe to add without worrying about over feeding. It also provides beneficial bacteria:
Okay thanks for the response mate!
but as i have to feed her tonight and its dark here, i cant get worm castings right now..
But just to be clear she's needing food, not having too much right?
cause in that case im continuing with week 3 nutes one week more instead of going with pure water
Yes, yellowing is typically one of two things - lack of light or needs nutes - the most common is N. If N it will start with older leaves first which is not necessarily the case with lack of light.
ah okay thanks alot man great info! gave her a new dosage of nutes now! best i could do for now. 2mL Grow and 4mL bloom for 2 Liters.
the grow contains N.. so..
we'll see how she reacts
Here's how she looks at the moment..
Im not sure i fixed the problem at all... starting to consider magnesium deficiency?
In that case i'll have to flush real good with ph'ed water and add new nutes after that (so i read atleast)
take a look, got a few LED's and a bunch with normal light.
I think it's normal for this to happen. Noticed so far that the first weeks of flowering are plenty stressful, and they need that energy because of the rate of growth per day is so accelerated, so they take it any where they can get it from. If you stopped feeding N food, probably why, it's good to keep the vegetative feeding until she stopped stretching.
Hope it helps to ease your mind
If it does progress upwards more, think of upping your dose of food.
i havent stopped feeding her N at all.
and it is kind of progressing upwards as you can see.. well i suspect i can see... gonna let her dry out anyway, so no decision made yet
we'll see how she loks hehe.. but thanks for the input, it's just hard to believe your feeding too little when she's doing that xD
Fed 2.5mL grow and 3 mL bloom last night for 1 liter water
Thats more than a double on the grow nutes from last time, so if its N its missing, she's got it now i guess
gonna just let affected leaves die off then pick them.. untill then just gotta wait and look for a reaction
hope every1's good out there
Sorry to see your having some issue's Away.
Hopefully the extra N will bring her color back a bit.
All in all she is not looking to bad for the start of flower.
