Blue Mystic Photoperiod In Coco Loco Under CFLs - 3rd Grow - Paintedbudman

Thanks Spitz, the girls appreciate the compliments!!:thanks:

The blue girls are 6 Weeks Old today!!!! Flushed, watered and fed the girls this morning. This is my typical mid grow flush. I put 5 gallons of unadjusted water through the each girls followed by 1 gallon of pH'd water, and finally a gallon of nutes (foxfarms nutes) adjusted to ~1300ppm (I previously was up at close to 2200ppm and the girls didn't react well, nothing major just a couple of minor things that made me think a lower ppm was probably better). I made my normal nute solution for 2 gallons and added another 2 gallons of water and finally adjusted pH to ~6.3. I also have changed over to 12/12 today. Based on reading the Blue Mystic should finish in ~8 weeks from now. They exhibit an approximate doubling in size during initial flowering. I have plants that range from 12" to 24" tall. If the doubling holds true one of the girls will be pushing the limits of my grow chamber without doing any training. We will have to see.

Here are pictures of the girls as of this morning.

Day three of 12/12 and I can see the pistols on at least one of the blue girls (the largest one, ~24" tall). Here is a picture of the girls in their grow chamber. I just thought I'd throw it in there because I like the pic.

Spitz, I'm planning on upgrading to an LED system to replace at least half of my cfls at the end of this grow (I may keep the side lighting that I just added prior to this grow). I may replace them all we'll see how they grow when I get there.

The girls are now 7 weeks old today. They are growing wonderfully. Here is a picture. One of my girls is 33" tall already.Grew ~10" in the lastweek. The others are following but still behind that one. Looking good if I must say so myself. I am guessing, based on what I've read I am about in the middle of my grow, another 7 weeks at most.:high-five:

I know it's not my normal picture day but I had to lower the floor in my grow chamber. Girl #4 was touching the ceiling. I removed one 5 gallon bucket layer and replaced it with a 1 gallon bucket layer giving me ~7 inches more head space. My tallest is 36" (girl# 4) and my shortest is 17" tall.SinceI had to move them I have individual shots of each one. Here they are in order from girl#1 to 4.

Looking great painted. Really nice coverage of green, beautiful colour, looks like your e chosen either shamrock or parakeet  Yeah I know, sorry, bad painters joke.. Hope all is well mate..

Thanks Grizz. I know what you mean about the colors. I worked for one company that made stains in both a contractor line and a consumer line. The consumer line had names like Honey Oak and Jacobean and driftwood. The contractor line had names like dark brown, light brown and medium brown. LOL, so parakeet and shamrock don't sound that far off the mark.

I decided to water and feed the girls tonight because girl #4 was almost touching the ceiling. It has grown from 31" LAST SATURDAY TO ~43" today. I have a group shot and individual pictures. Enjoy the Saturday night pot porn party.

Its wednesday and I have watered the girls. Girl #4 is the tallest at 46" followed by #3 at 41" and then its #2 at 32"and finally #1 at 28". #12 appear to be lagging (these were the ones that i fimmed and topped so I think theymay be a week or so behind the other 2. Here is a picture. The two girls in the from are on 5 gallon buckets and the two in the back are on the floor (I hope these 2 don't grow much more).

Just a quick update. Everyhthing is progressing nicely.I have settled in on 1100-1300 ppm for my nute levels ( I have 150-200ppm hard water to begin with so take that into account) and the girls are thriving. All are into the flowering stage. Fast growth. I have had to lower my plants several times in the last 2 weeks. Two of the girls are on the floor already. I hope they slow and stop soon. Girl # 4 has already had to be tied down as she hit the heat shield cieling yesterday. She is at least 52~ tall from the ground level up.Gir #2 is about 5-6"shorter. Girl #2 and #1 are now both over 30" tall and still growing. These two were topped and fimmed (in that order respectively). Here is a pic of the canopy (the first two girls in front are still up on buckets you can't see butthe two in back are starting to push the vertical limits of my grow chamber. Take care and enjoy!!!:volcano-smiley:

I'll try to get those Pics that you want this evening. The undergrowth on these is kind of thick. I haven't done much trimming on this grow. The last two times I started trimming the girls about now. Any opinions on that? should I trim my plant or let it just follow natures course. If I do trim, what and how much? Always looking for good advice. I might not always follow the advice but I will always listen and consider.

I'll post those pics when I get them, Right now the girls are in a dark phase, THey should be waking up in a couple hours.

I was hoping to see some color on this strain. Nothing yet. I have been keeping it cool at night (64-68°F) and warming into into the mid '80s during the day. Anyone know if I'm encouraging the color development, or should I be doing something else or something more. :Namaste:

Here are a bunch of photos, Not exactly sure what you want but here are a variety of shots below the canopy and of the flowers and a couple of just randon shots. The girls are 9weeks old today woohoo!!!!:woohoo:

Nope standard pine lumber from my local big box store. This particular batch of 2x4s had a real red hue to it.
