Blue Mystic Photoperiod In Coco Loco Under CFLs - 3rd Grow - Paintedbudman

Hey everybody I've got a quick question. I'm considering my next grow and have a choice of what I want to try this time. I've narrowed my choices to 3 (they are all from Nirvana):

Lemon OG Haze Autoflower (supposedly high yield sativa with a short growing cycle)
White widow auto flower(high THC hybrid, legendary strain in an autoflower version)
Wonder woman feminized (very high yield, high THC, fast photoperiod plant)

If you don't mind giving an opinion, which should I grow next? I am planning on starting the seeds this coming weekend so when my current grow ends I have 4 week old plants to move right in to the flowering chamber.

One of each... Veg/clone/top/twist and tie the WW for 90 days while your autos grow out. Start her 2-3 weeks later even. Your call boss!

OK My decision has been made. My next grow will be .... Lemon OG Haze Autoflower. The main reason is I have not yet grown a sativa strain yet, I am curious how it differs from indica or hybrids with heavy indica influence.

Sorry Spitz but I think I'm not quite ready to mix it quite so much all at once, maybe someday when I feel more comfortable with growing. I think for the next couple grows I'll keep it to just one strain (or at most 2).

The girls are 9.5 weeks old as of yesterday. They are looking good. Girls 3 and 4 are both over 51" tall and #1 and 2 are ~35. They have started to show some frosting around the flowers but now color to these blur mystics yet. I expect at most 4.5 weeks left... maybe less. Here are a couple of pictures that i like of this grow.

I recieved my new LED light today. I plan on installing it on Saturday (if i can manage to wait that long). I decided to go with a mars-hydro reflector 192. Based on my research that should do nicely in my grow chamber. I'll finish off the blue mystic under the new led supplemented with some CFL lights on the side.

I started my next grow on Sunday with 4 germinated Lemon OG Haze Autoflower seeds in 5 gallon fabric pots. They are currently under cfl's in my Veg chamber waiting for the grow chamber to free up in about 4 weeks. I'll be starting a new journal for this one so keep an eye out and join me for the next chapter in the saga of its a green green green world!

OK, I watered the girls last night. I have figured out how I plan to install my new LED lights I should have ~15" from the top of my tallest plant to the light when I get done. I hope that is enough. I'll monitor them closely initially until I get some experience with the light.

I have taken a few pics, probably my last until after the new lights, The girls are growing rounder buds and not any real new hieght to speak of in the past week or so. Getting frosty and starting to stink if you touch them. I'm guessing I'm right on schedule to harvest in a little over three weeks. ...... can't wait!!! I hope they smoke as tasty as they smell.

I really like this last shot, i trained the cola sideways and all the little branches shot up sort of like a comb. It looks better in person than this shot shows.

First picturesa of my new Mars Hydro LED light. Also just a qy\uick bud picture. I will have new pictures of the plants and light later when it is scheduled to be on. Loking forward to seeing how much less heat w3ill be generated. I have been having minor problems with the lights overwhelming my air conditioning during 90°F days. The solar heat gain simply swamps the cooling capacity on really hot days.

Thanks Nick, I'm looking forward to my next grow under just the new LED. When you get a chance drop in to the new Journal (see my signature below). I'm trying a sativa dominant strain for the first time. Really curious what the differences between the smoke are from a indica dominant strains that I've already grown. Not much happening since the germination. They have just gotten their first set of non-dicot leaves appearing. I may not use any (or significantly less) side lighting from my CFLs, just to see what I can do with just the LED. btw I have just finished the 3r book in The Immortal Nicholas Flamel series. I'm enjoying them quite a bit, a good fun read! Take care nick. And remember to always keep it green

Here are some pictures of my plants today. They have some nute problems (not exactly sure what caused it but I have had problems with brown spot on the leaves of at least one plant on every grow i have done that started about 3-4 weeks before harvest ..... not sure what to do next time. help anybody?). Do the bottom leafs look similar? I wonder if it's light related? Are you running drain to waste? How much runoff? I tried the AN Sensi PH perfect line and had some deficiency symptoms. I only had them when I'd get lazy and not water to 10% runoff or adjust PH (would drift from 5.8 at mix to 7 in about a week). If I was diligent with PH and water to excess (removing runoff), the few coco plants I did were flawless.

It doesn't look like it will affect your end product much. Looking grand sir!! Would love a clone of this plant!

Spitz, That is kind of funny. I am tryiing my hand at cloning it. I broke a branch off about 3 weeks ago and decided to try to clone it. I am going to follow the reveg and clone of this in my newest grow journal (see my signature below) of Lemon OG Haze Autoflower. But here is a pic of how that is gooing .... last week I thought she was a goner but she is recovering nicely imho. Drop by the new grow and you can follow her progress. I am thinking of trying to use this as a mother plant and see how that goes as an experiment. Also, you may have something about runoff. In all of my grows so far I have had trouble with the last flush. This time they got too big and were very fragile. When I changed my lights out I decided I wouldn't take them out again until harvest because without the support of the adjacent foliage everything just fell over and I had quite a few broken branches. So no runnoff since my plants have gotten so big. I try to flush at week 6 and 2 weeks before harvest but in the last 3 grows I have had a problem with that final flush. Next time I think I have plan for how to flush them even when they get big.

It will take that youngin another 3-4 weeks to start growing in vegetative state. When it finally does root fully and revert, it will be insanely bushy. Good luck!

The girls are less than a week from harvest. I have watered them very lightly for the last time. I am lowering the lights and using only the"flowering" switch onmy LED lights. Many of the leaves are yellow and drying out. I looked at the trichomes (bunches and bunches of those) and they are almost all milky but no amber that i can see. Looking forward to sampling this strain. Hope it tastes like it smells sometimes.

I started harvesting the girls yesterday. She was looking sickly, but I started seeing some amber on her over the last weekend. Here is the harvest so far: 268g wet which should dry to 1.9-2.4 oz. Not bad, 2 of the 3 remaining plants should provide morebud than this one. Her are pics of the bud drying .

Girl #2 is down. I harvested 303g wet. Estimate this will give me between 2.2 and 2.7oz dry. The running total so far is 571g wet and an estimated dry of 4.1-5.1 oz dry. Here are some pictures of plant 2 harvest. I'm beat and going to bed to dream of the dried and cured bud i WILL BE GETTING out this grow very soon.

Finished with Girl #3, the smallest of the three by my estimate. I got 136g wet which should dry to 1.0-1.2 oz dry. Her are some pictures of this girls harvest. Cumulative totals are 707 g wet ==> dries to ~5.0-6.3 oz. So far so good.

I have tried one of the smaller buds from the first two girls that dried sufficiently to taste test. The first girl didn't have a lot of "flavor" butit got me off. The second one has a lot of flavor. Don't know how to describe it very well, but sweet and heavy is the best I can do. Not really blueberry but still tasty! Can't wait till I get some cure on it and bring out the full flavor.!!

Girl #4 has met the reaper. She provided 224g wet which should give 1.6-2.0oz of dried bud. The total for this grow is 931g wet (33.25 oz wet) which based on prevcious harvest should give between 6.7 and 8.3 oz when dried. I have been monitoring some of the cure and I may get better numbers than these, I held off water quit a bit in the last 1-2 weeks and the pots were very light and some of the leaves were already drying out. Cross my fingers, i wouldn't mind a bit more dried bud than I expected. LOL Well these girls are done. I'll update the final tally after about 1-2 weeks of cure.
