Ethos Crescendo RBX1, Photoperiod 2023

Beast mode bro 💪💯. You're going to pull some yield on that girl!
Nicely done 👍
Thanks Spark…..she’s completely filled the tent, super bushy. When her stretch stops I’ll trim her up so we can see her better.

Happy New Year! My little Crescendo enters 2024 with a bang, looking gorgeous! She's a bushy thing and the tent is stuffed wall to wall. The upward stretch has been a little slow to get started however (I wonder if that light mishap slowed her). She's about 22" tall now, that's about 4 inches of vertical growth in the last 5-6 days. I gave her a 75% wash with Fox Farm KISS the other day and have added blackstrap molasses to the non-feed day watering cycle, she's in hog heaven at the moment. I "think" I see an occasional pistil here and there so things are about to get interesting. When her stretch is complete I plan to trim her up/expose the bud sites that should start forming in the next week or so. Have a great week!

Hey Everyone......our girl is on the stretch now (26" tall, 6-7" growth in 3 days) and pistils are popping everywhere. I'll call this her 2nd day of flower. Her smell has changed in just the last few days from an ancient, well used bong to a mothball-ish musk (made me wonder if she had gone moldy!). Crazy how some of these gals express themselves during the phase change, its a striking smell at the moment. I wound up flushing her yesterday (5G of PH'd DI+FoxFarm Sledge Hammer (surfactant) followed by 1G of a 25% normal feed at this time). She looks marvelous this morning and like I said, is really stretching those legs now. She needs trimmed badly, just a wild looking hedge right now. I'll give her a big trim when her stretch ends (maybe 1 more week) to open up her mains and expose these beautiful little bud sites that are coming in. Have a great weekend!

Hey Everyone....This lady is in the throes of her flower and while her stretch has started to slow she's been pushing beautiful, cream colored pistils at an incredible rate. She's a little over 29" tall now and just the bushiest thing, the tent is just stuffed from side to side. This represents a rather modest ~9" stretch to date, and although she seems to be slowing (after an explosive first few days), I think she's going to break 30" before she settles to make her buds. The smell is still really weird, like my grandmothers closet, very moth-ballish and mold-like (I love my Grandma!). At least it's explainable and beats trying to pretend that I don't smell the skunk in heat in the basement. She had her final foliar feed of FoxFarm KISS today and I will be trimming her up when her stretch is done (meaning this week some time, I can't wait to see her in her final form). Have a great week!

Hey 420, we've got all kinds of action in the tent today......
  1. She's ~32" tall now at the peak cola which puts her about 15 1/2" from the light. I'm out of head room (again) so my PPFD/DLI are running a little hot at the moment (~925 PPFD or 40 DLI (Target DLI ~36)). Her stretch seems done so I'll keep an eye for any light stress and will likely flip the light up to 100% in the coming week or two as long as she's not stressing.
  2. In prep for her big trim, I fed her with a 2.8EC mix of Fox Farm chemical goodness (Big Bloom, Grow Big, CalMag, Open Sesame, and Tiger Bloom).
  3. After an hour or so I trimmed her up, she looks naked and afraid...........hang on baby. It still scares me to do that to her but they always seem to recover and thrive after a week or so. Side note: I didn't use any silica this time and I notice a difference now that I can clearly see her legs. They don't look as thick/sturdy. Silica is good stuff that I will add back to the feed schedule next plant.
  4. Some of her fans are 8-9 inches+ long and the smell, omg. When I was trimming her, the odor was a near physical presence. Very skunky (the moth ball smell is long gone) but something else that I could not place. I checked her lineage a moment ago, she is part Mandarin Skunk (Mandarin Skunk x Grandpa's Cookies), that Mandarin is unforgettable, especially concentrate, it has one of the most unique, spicy smells that I can recall. Lord I hope her buds smell like that.
  5. She's got some frost coming in, a very light dusting, but good to see this early.
Everyone stay safe/warm this weekend with the storms.

My wife let me sneak in to the tent for a quick water, measure, and photo shoot, then the lock went back on. For someone who doesn't like my grow she's suddenly being very protective ;).

C-RBx1 is 32' tall and holding which puts her about 14" from the light. That's still a little hot based on target DLI BUT next week she should move into a normal range as the PPFD requirements climb during the early stages of flower. Currently, a "water" for me means PH'd Fox Farm CalMag, Big Bloom, Blackstrap Molasses, and Great White Myco, a fabulous little sauce for the microbes in particular. She gets 1.75G (that's 1/2G more than I've seen other plants take at this phase btw, she's a drinker) every other water now with a feed in between. While she still looks pretty bare, her pistils and trics are starting to come in now that they are getting more light and air. I can't wait to see her build over the next 3-4 weeks, my favorite time of the grow.

Hey Everyone, We are putting a wrap on week 3 of flower and my girl is rounding into shape. I fed her 2 days ago and included her first feed with FoxFarm Beastie Bloomz (replaced Fox Farm Open Sesame per feed schedule). This red dust has no N, is high(er) in P and K (0-50-30) than Open Sesame (5-45-19) and aligns with her increasing need for these key nutrients as her flowers develop. It's only been a couple of days but trics are really starting to come in and her pistils wave around on there own volition, like a bunch of small Venus fly traps. One other note....I don't name my plants generally, but if I did I would call her Mothra. She smells so, well, mothy....earthy, like a skunk slept there but for only a few hours, subtle.....I am really digging this pheno so far.
