Ethos Crescendo RBX1, Photoperiod 2023

Sorry folks, I'll post tomorrow. I had a little issue during transplant (dropped her) so she's been in the ICU the last few days.

Day 25 Above Ground, Veg Day 11
Hey Everyone, Sorry for the delayed post, we've had some challenges to deal with....first, I waited a little too long to transplant her from the 4" pot to a 1G pot. She was really rootbound, starting to show it in fact, and didn't want to come out of the pot. So, while trying to encourage her to come out, i dropped her......she came out then but the root-ball was a scattered all over the floor. Luckily I didn't break her main stem and was able to get her back together and in the hole, liberal doses of Great White Myco on what was left of the root ball, then watered her in with a 25% solution of FoxFarm Big Bloom, Grow Big, Calmag, and Mr Fulvic. She's been in the ICU for 5 days now and looks better/is growing again, although the older growth shows some wear and tear. Given this issue and the impact to the lower veg, I decided NOT to flux her. Instead I'll top her tomorrow, pair that with her first full feed, and then let her grow out. I've never done that before, always fluxed, so this will be a new experience for me. I've still got the light at 25% intensity and around 17" inches from the canopy, or ~300 PPFD, temp at 75D, 62% RH. PPFD will be moving up to ~450 this week as I get deep into the 2nd week of Veg.

Looking great bro, damn she's growing fast.any possible way you can get her into a fabric pot?
:passitleft:just easier grow bro

@Greenvein
So good question here. My plan was to put her in a 5g fab when she outgrows the 1G plastic. I thought 1. It would be easier to transfer her from pot to pot if it were in plastic and 2. That I’ll have her in a 5g fab for most of her life and during flower. How do you work your way through the up-pots? Are you using fab pots during early mid veg? Do you just cut it away when you up-pot or bury it in the smaller fab pot?

Great question bro, i can't use fabric until my last final.
But typically you want to up pot couple weeks before flower to really utilize those roots to bust out some yield.

Thanks Vein I almost cried when I first dropped her.
Haha I know the feeling 🤣 it's no sweat in veg but can't deny that horrible guy feeling when it happens. I decided to down pot as I'm in Coco and most my rootballs fell apart 🤣 it's all fun

26 Days Above Ground
Happy Thanksgiving everyone….I topped her late yesterday between the 5th and 6th nodes and fed her (Fox Farm Cal Mag (200ppm), Big Bloom, and Grow Big….EC 1.6, PH 6.2. She is looking better now after a hard week, time to settle in and just veg for a while before the next traumatic up pot. DLI is at 300, perfect! I’ll start to move it higher this week, gradually, to a target of ~450.

Thanks Gaines…..I’ve got an up pot to a 5 G fabric planned in and I’ll make sure it’s minimum 2 weeks pre-flip

Day 31 Above Ground; Veg, Day 13
Light: 18 Hours/day, 22" from Canopy at 50% Intensity

Hey 420,

Happy Thanksgiving for those that celebrate. My girl grew 3-4 inches over the holiday weekend, about the same as my waist line......damn, what a feast!

C-RBx1 is looking really good with only a hint of residual scarring from the recent transplant. I topped her a few days ago and, along with her recovery and first full feed, her growth has accelerated. Her two new tops are coming in nicely and her lower nodes are pushing some ridiculously purple looking side branches that will become visible when they break the lower leaf-line and start reaching up. She has a really hash/bong-like smell for such a little thing (7-8 inches tall) but a leaf rub comes away smelling "fruity". I gave her her first hit of Silica Bloom today, maybe a little heavy at 2ML/G but should be ok, and have her on a schedule now, something that is important cuz I can't remember anything even when i right it down. It's an 8-day cycle (in the 1G plastic container): Feed, Dry, Dry, Dry, Water, Dry, Dry, Dry....repeat.

Look at you with your fancy crystal drip tray!
lol, crystal....that cracks me up. I mix all my nutes in a crystal chalice as well. Its actually climate killing, molded plastic, $7.99 at home depot :)

Veg the shit out of her and fill out that canopy before the flip brother to give you that extra weight and easier on you in flower.
Are you going 5gal for finals?
Hey Gaines, Yeah I have some time in veg still for sure, I'd like to get her about 16" tall before the flip and she's around 7" now. I do plan a move to a 5G fabric pot, likely in the next week or so (this grow is flying, I can't believe its time for another up-pot). You still growing out there or taking some time off the journal? They can be a pain sometimes to keep up with.
