Ethos Crescendo RBX1, Photoperiod 2023

Day 94 Above Ground, Flower Week 4, Day 28
Light: 12 Hours/day, 11" from Canopy at 75% Intensity
PPFD ~1120, DLI 48.4 (Target ~1042 PPFD, 45 DLI)
77D, 55% RH (VPD Target ~77D, 55%-60% RH)

Hey Everyone....I didn't realize it had been a week since my last post, sorry about that! I gave her another flush this week (per feed chart) and installed a small peony ring to help tease apart her colas. I also added a 1" layer of worm castings to the pot and topped that off with a few cups of small pebbles to help with erosion and add to her look.

The importance of an even canopy becomes evident at this stage of flower, now that I am looking for that perfect PPFD/DLI. Lesson learned, I need to pay more attention to her shape during early veg. What she lacks in car canopy, she makes up for in looks, she's stunning. 4 primary colas that are building some crazy looking flowers, purple leaf stems with purple stripes up the main stem, perfectly formed, forest green fans, sugar leaves dusted with a beautiful coat of trics, and a psychedelic mix of green, cream, and orange colored pistils.

Her smell continues to change and surprise. Have you ever ridden a horse? If so, you know that smell: musky horse and sweat (yours and the horse), wafts of earthy dung, old leather as you step to the saddle. That's what she reminded me of the other day. Today, she was different, over-powering, I could barely keep the tent open long enough for photos w/o dousing the house.

Have a great week 420..........

Thanks Scottay, I just need to quit cutting them off and she should be fine :)...... I have a terrible habit of doing a poor initial trim and then picking at her, a leaf here, a leaf there.

Im a defoliating fool my friend!! I know that they need it but usually my girls don't have panties on bwahaha As far as trim.... Shit it's mine so it ain't gotta look impressive. My friends have always enjoyed themselves with it 🤣 But there is something to be said for a really pretty trimmed nugget. Happy Tuesday 024!! 😎✌️

She’s coming along nicely……well done.
I’m growing a couple of Ethos beans at the moment..:.a few weeks ahead of u. From what I’ve seen, Ethos puts out some good genetics.
I’m growing a White Wedding and a Lilac Diesel x Mandarin Cookies (which they call something else). Just finished 9 weeks of 12/12 and the two plants are on a totally different harvest schedule. The WW has the strongest smell of anything I’ve grown and looks like it needs another 2-3 weeks…probably 3.
The LDxMC is much closer to being finished….shes totally purple up top (my temps have been on the low side during lights out). The only negative is her nose…..there’s almost no smell…..literally nothing…..smells like an empty mason jar. But ultra frosty and rock hard nuggets.
I’ll def use Ethos again.
Good luck, stay patient and you’ll be good to go.

Thanks MFG, from no smell to the strongest you've ever had, crazy. I am an Ethos fan after this grow, they have some cool strains hard to decide which to try next.

Hey Everyone....Time is flying! CRBx1 is in week 5 of flower now and has transitioned to Fox Farm's final booster product called Cha-Ching. She looks really good. Her flowers make me high just looking at them and are really frosty now, so much so it's starting to blur the pictures and defeat all my photo editing attempts. I'm not sure how her yield is going to be, she's still building but has a poor shape if I am to be honest so may not get the yield I would have otherwise. Whatever she produces though is going to be layered in an extreme coat of frost.

Thank G, I’ve never had one look like this, good lord!

Gulp…………..these flowers are stunning my friends.

Looks like a little light stress going on at the peak of the largest cola (she’s about 10 inches from the lamp) but seems contained to this one cola and only at the top node. She should be ok but I’ll keep my reddened eyes peeled for more signs. It’s almost time to start dialing down the nutrients in preparation for her final few weeks of maturation. More to follow on my next post. Have a good week ahead.

If you mean you'd like to focus on one bud with the rest in the background you just have to select it on your screen.. when your camera is on whatever part of the screen you touch will become the main focus point.

I might have an idea how to do it...I could hang it from the tent roof on 6x fluorocarbon tippet so that it bumps right up against one of the colas (like it's stuck there) and then......what? Take a picture with my wife's phone? WTF.....wait, I have an old phone i can use........there goes my lunch hour. This picture had better be good, hang tight.
