I also threw the 400w light up in the tent to test temps, everything went pretty good! after 3 hours the temp was 71 inside the tent, waiting on my Mh's to be delivered.

(Waiting on the shower underlayment for the floor still)

Everything is starting to come together!

What are you going to do with all that weed? I am growing only 3 plants and other growers tell me that these will fill my 6' by 6' grow area when mature.

Plant count is just a number that can vary. Plant space is rather constant. But you do have a choice provided you are growing within the limits of local laws. You can either grow 3 big plants in your 6x6 space or 6 medium plants or 12 small plants. The difference is time spent in veg and plant height limitations in the space. If it's your first grow, 3 plants is plenty to learn from. More plants can mean more stress....hahaha. Cheers everyone!

Smoke it, bake it, press it, and compost what's left after ;)

I'm assuming half or less will be female, so I will be left with about 6 females, and once they get to a nice size, I'm only going to flower 4/6 and let the other 2 grow in veg so I can clone them for my next batch.

In the long run, I'm going to have 10 clones in the 10x4x6 harvest tent and 2 mother plants with a 40 day difference in age so I can reclone them every harvest and continuously be growing.

Plants are doing nicely after I finally got my lights delivered.

I'm onto 4th nodes on most of the plants.

When do you guys top/fim? And why? I've heard 3rd, 4th, 5th nodes.

I would presume people wait for 5th node or so because the plant has a well established root system by then. Topping can depress some strains for a day or 2. So the recovery period would be faster on a bigger plant as well. I abuse my ladies plenty and most of the time they ask for more! Your ladies look about 14-18 days old, I would wait to top after you transplant. Waiting a day or so after transplanting for that recovery as well. Then after topping tie her limbs down and spread her out! Cheers!

haha, they are 2 weeks today, not including germination and the 2 days they were under soil.

Another question I'm curious about. What should I transplant them into? a gallon bucket? or straight into the 4 -5gallons?

I would recommend 2 transplants. 1gal then into 3 or 5 gal. If you venture into the Auto grows, then go to their final pot so as to reduce stresses etc. The #1 reason not to place into bigger pots is over watering can become an issue. Transplanting is not that big of a deal. I used to stress the fuck out much more than the plants did! Haha!

I had an accidental top happen yesterday, I dropped the water bottle on it and it snapped. This morning the new branch growth has exploded and the stem seems to allready be repairing itself. Hopeful!

whelp... time to trim some leaves. I had the first leaf show spots 2 days ago, I figured no big deal. Today, half my plants have leaves showing spots.

I did end up topping/Fimming at the 4th&5th nodes. (the plant pictured was accidentally topped by my sleeve on the 2nd node. I was livid with myself trust me)

I trimmed off all the leaves so the branches could get more light.

The branches took off like rockets! looks like it worked out, they're gonna be bushed out and super short.

ALSO- The tri-leaf oddball is on its 5th node now, still producing triple nodes. Its stem is twice as thick as the rest, but it is also half the height of the rest (not a bad thing!)

they look great. For the one that you broke off at the 2nd node, maybe consider trying out "mainlining" with it. seems like the perfect opportunity. I decided to try it out in my current grow.
