First Time Grow

Hello all. First time grower here and just want company and advice on my journey. How does she look?

Welcome to the forum @Chasev89 She looks good so far. What's in the bucket? Are you hand-watering for now?

Thank you! For now I just have some regular water in there with a large air stone. nutrients at the ready. I water once a day with a spray bottle just a few squirts. The small river rock I’m using keeps the plug about half an inch above the water.

Looks like you have it handled for now. Do you plan on using Hydroguard/bennies or a sterile res?

Definitely made it harder by going the hydro route lol

Bennies, or beneficial bacteria like Hydroguard, are added to hydro buckets to out-compete other aerobic bacteria that you do not want to grow. H2o2, or hydrogen peroxide, is used to sterilize your res; it kills everything but the plant. For DWC you should use one or the other, not both.

The OCD in me would have the fan/filter up to the ceiling..?
I can't get along with hydro, probably too dumb lol

UPDATE! Raised the filter a bit( the filter is a bit heavy on the support rod need to add something) also added small fan!
