Even better point! I count weeks but they usually go way over, they are done when they are solid half orange looking things in my mind.

Yes Smurf, you gonna love the HID mate, since I got mine I start veg with a 250w cfl and the light just seems so dim in comparison. HID will change your life haha, get a MH for veg, grow them into monsters!
Your garden looking nice and bushy mate. I wouldn't start counting flowering days though until it starts flowering. It will give you a wrong idea on how long its supposed to go. Flowering doesn't start from the 12/12 flip, its starts when its in flower.

Good point on the flowering times. My game plan at a later date is to pick up another 400wHPS/MH used for veg and then use my cfl for cloning.
Yeh sounds perfect mate. I do the same , I use the CFL for seedlings , then MH-HPS , winning!

looking good mate, next time around you wont notice as much stretch in veg because of the hps
He was using a 6500k cfl before for veg which has less stretch than using a HPS for veg. Red spec lights in veg make plants stretch more , blue spec keeps the nodes tighter together. You get less stretch off the blue cfl's than a hps. Thats why MH is used for veg if your using HID's.
Standard rule, Blue veg, Red flower, CFL or HID.

I vegged 6 wonder woman's with the fox farm lineup. On a 24 hr recirc drip system and cropped them with four branches and tied those down. In 30 days I had 6 monster bushes. Too bad I didn't get to flower them. Ended up having to rip them all out... :-(

hey green smurf nice grow so far mate , ive just started the dwc as well so i just read through ur whole journal & have to say nice work buddy , ive grown the wonder woman before in soil and i have to say she was my favourite strain so far to grow really solid dense nugs and totally potent and skunky smelling also a great yeilder ,

I use great white for healthy roots. I check ph daily make sure there is no light going into the res. And keep my fingers crossed.
