Mine is awesome! The flap is on the inside, not on the outside.

I know they have those small 1/2" flaps of Mylar on the inside that get all twisted & let light through. They don't have the large 3" - 4" Flaps on the outside that Velcro shut on the outside though. The square door tents have both.
Do you have a pic of the tent zippers with your grow lights on, Tent Closed & the room dark ?
I'll bet you find pin hole light leaks through the zipper. That's OK if you grow Auto's but not for Photo's.

My grow room is in the basement. When it’s dark, it’s dark. Lol.

I’m not worried about little pin holes. I don’t necessarily believe in all that hogwash.
In excess I can understand but you can’t tell me that in nature it’s completely dark. Everyone growing outdoors in the city would have nanners.
My old room had light leaks everywhere and I had massive buds, no nanners.
I think it’s talked up a bit more than what it is. Not saying I’m right, but my experience shows it to be bs.

I've spent the past 2 months building this room. Every single crack was Foamed in or Caulked. All walls & ceiling insulated & sealed, All new electric, etc. It's almost done. Putting up the 6 ml. diamond Mylar now & then I'll trim it all out, put up Shelves, Stands & mounts for things & it will be ready.
Looks like it will be about the size of the one in your pic. Nice job on it by the way.

Yeah, trust me, I miss my room, but had to decom and go with the tent this grow. We’re renting and the Landlord wanted to do a yearly walkthrough. I didn’t think they’d appreciate my hobby as much as I do. Lol.
I bought 4x8’ sheets of radiant barrier and sealed it up with AC tape.
I had a bad ass SCROG setup in there a couple of grows ago.

I miss being able to walk in and hang out, although I couldn’t with the netting. Lol!

I used the Radiant Barrier Foam Sheets on the ceiling + there's R-13 behind that. Got 3 walls done.
Time to get back to work. Needed a Joint Break ... LOL.

Now if I keep him on the 18 and 6 vegetative state is it okay to let the males grow a big bigger just to make sure? Keeping them on 18 and 6

It does not matter what you keep it at, when the pollen sacks get really, they bust when they want.
Just to make sure....it IS a male.
