I use rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle it is cheep and does the job. I clean all my equipment with it because it sterilizes, cleans, evaporates, and kills anything that can fly or crawl.

Anyone tried mite massacre? I bought a bottle but haven't tried it yet. I normally use neem or spinosad. I've never had a bad mite problem before due to preventive maintenance. I just bought the mite massacre in case I ever get a bad infestation.

so small update. not much change on the thrip situation other than the lady bugs are staying in the room and on the plants. will be giving another foliar of neem tomorrow night when i get off work. Since i decided to stop using the pellets/puck for clones and seedlings, i picked up these solo shot cups for cheap. they fit perfect in the cloner. and are a tad bigger than the pucks. i took 3 Ceres Skunk clones to test them out. i have also almost finished my auto dripper system. just waiting on a few key parts and it should be set it and forget it time. atlas i hope. i have a 2 week trip to colorado coming up and won't be able to be here to watch everything. a few pics for you.

internet went out from storm last night so couldn't update. ill post flower update later. but here is all the ladies in the veg tent. i think i am winning the thrip battle. the clones in shot glass seem to be doing just fine. got more of the drip system in. almost done. about to start the drain table project. decided to top the Snow Drift clones. and the Skunk clone. not sure what else to say. everything is looking good.
and the SD#5 clone wasn't looking good on the top so i cut it off and will try to get these 2 lowers to come up and see what they do.

So. Question... As I have never grown these strains. (Blue dream. Strawberry sour diesel, sour lemon, pineapple skunk, and chem dog. When would be a good time for their first top. Pretty sure they all are working on either their 5th or 6th node.

so finally a flower update. got the drip system put in. i think it should do the job. got it feeding 1 minute 3 times a day. a couple frosty shots of SD#1 (ice x Aurora Indica)
Lovely flowers... sorry about the bugs! I had probs in my last Grow

Thanks! I'm hoping my neem treatment will take care of the issue. I'm guessing it worked for you.? Tomorrow is roughly eand of week 3 in the veg tent and end of week 4 in flower. Should be another update tomorrow.Lovely flowers... sorry about the bugs! I had probs in my last Grow
Yes! I did two or 3 applications about 4 weeks into flower and they were perfect...mine was gnats

nice. glad to hear it worked. after my morning gardening I'm pretty sure I'm getting the upper hand on the thrips. have only seen one or two thrips on leaves. (could still be more in coco). and haven't been noticing much if any leaf damage since the start of neem applications.
it is only day 43 in flower and my SD#1 already has about 20% amber trichs.... but she isn't as thick as i want... what do i do.?. i haven't even started the flush yet... still seeing white hairs though so we shall see. guess she is going to be a fully ripe flower at harvest... this should be an interesting development.
decided to go ahead and top everything else. except the Blue Dream. It is a little behind the others..
Also decided to try some resistance training on the older clones.

Update: installed the new RO system. i am amazed at the ease and cost. no more 100+$ month bottled/gallon water bill.i have well water and it is gross. to say the least. i don't feed it to my animals or my plants. and i try not to cook with it. i can add more filters to the system later. can disinfect it and a ph balancer. plus a few other i think. it is only a 5stage system but i can get it up to i think 10 stage.

That's a good lookin RO system Newty it should pay for it self in no time
Haha nice . not my unit but I was going to say, nice unit insanity . I hope the bugs are almost gone for you. I noticed in my last Grow that the pistols turned amber real quick and then I got a bunch of new white pistol grown half way into flower?? Crazy how much denser they get in the last half.
