So....my roommate and I are both growing the same plant.
lemon haze auto.
Mine is clearly larger and has more stems and leaves. And bud sites.
His has larger buds but his is ten days older too.
My plant started getting brown hairs already and his still has white hairs and no browns about three days ago. Now he has some brown hairs.
My plant is stressed with green leaves yellowing all over it. Plus some really yellow leaves. His has not one single yellow leaf anywhere in site. Not one. They are all majorly dark green.
His buds are huge and mine are decent.
But the issue.....his plant has almost no scent. I say almost because it does have a very faint smell of skunk. Not lemon.
And mine smells so strong you can't walk in the basement without smelling it.
This baffles me. Like what would make what causes these plants to smell not occur on a plant that looks about as perfect as a plant can?
My my roommate watering practices were shit(through the entire grow he probably got run off twice and the rest of the time the bottom of his felt pot was dry to the bone) and he gave the plant too many doses of nutes and the plant is fine. Except it has hardly any smell at all.
Trichomes are longer than on my plant. Again it's ten days older. So to be expected.
His plant is a week and a half from being 70 days. The seed companies suggested grow time is 60 to 70 days from seed to harvest

Edit: I'm wrong ...his plant is already past the seed Cos suggestion of 60 to 70 days. It clearly is not finished though
His plant is 74 days and seems to keep getting bigger daily. Mine is 64 days old and seems to have stopped growing in certain areas. Although two nodes directly across from each other have no issues at all and you can see the yeild difference clearly

His grow started on Dec 24.
Mine started on Jan 3. Jan 2 it popped and was in a five gallon by the next day.
Anybody know why that plant would have minimal smell on a few buds but no smell on the others with not much time to go to harvest?
