But if I would have the small plant, this size of my plants are enought to start going into flower ? Or I would want them to get bigger before flowering ? I mean what is considered good height to have before going to flower, I know this is personal question and it depends on how high my ceiling are and stuff like that :) But just out of curiosity, would you turn them to flower considering they are this big ? :)
in 2 weeks sure.. not the little seedling though you gonna have to veg it separately if you gonna wait for the seedling to get at propper size than you gonna end up like my plants. there is a point where you will see that the plants are starting to form smaller leaves than the ones they have now thats when i would turn to flower next time let me show you.
thats the size i would sugest you go into flower .

if you want monster plants like mine go when the size is like this

Heyy, brought some pictures.

Two pictures below is my SadFace, she got new haircut - 2 leafs were removed in order for inner growth to get light, those leafs were blocking all light, so friend suggested to snap some leafs ;) Will see how it goes, she was really beautiful before, the leafs were as big as my hand.

And here is my Beauty Queen, yesterday she had a top-job (it is my last topping hopefully untill i go to flower). Will post pictures after she's recovered.

Ugly Duckling, Also had her tops removed, not all, left some undone.

very nice they are growing fine. dont snap leaves there are not buds that need light they are there to do some jobs and that is not only photosynthesys its much more snaping leaves on that small of plants all is doing is shocking them you will see the result on your own ...slower growth.

Thanks Simoto! Yeah, I didn't like the idea of snapping those huge leafs either ;( But snapping ( lollipoping) plant later is a good thing isn't it ? And yeah "UD" is a little monster bush :) there's so many little tops there its hard to understand what is comming from where? :D When it will grow bigger I will show you how crazy the stem looks there ;))

lolipopping later is good but like 1 week before flower not now the only thing you do that early by removing leaves is stres them. and lolipopping isnt neceseraly removing leaves i lolipoped removing side growth not leaves by side growth i mean the stem that grows between the main stem and a fanleaf those will transform to small buds later and you can also take clones from them if you remove that sidegrowth no bud will groow inbetween that leaf and th main stem

Update

Week 7 begins today, this will be the last week I'm in Veg mode, maybe it's too early, maybee it's too late, I don't know I just have deadlines set, so I will switch to bloom next week. First I'm going to accustom plants to bloom light mode, then gradualy increase night time until its 12/12. Then I'm going to build scrog net, I have thought of nice scrog net build, it will be with telescoping legs, so I can adjust height if needed.
I did rez change this Monday, but I can't keep my pH stable, so Im going to change rez tomorrow completely, as last time I have only trash that water which water pump can return.
I have brought a handful of pictures of my ladies, some root porn shots also :} By the way, It seems to me that the roots don't want to go into water :) I find it strange because theyre growing on sides and acting as a bush instead of a rope like ;}} Roots don't want to go out..

EC 1.2
pH 6.4
Room temps: 27C days/ 22C nights
Water temps: 25C days/ 23C nights
50% RH

Ugly Duckling shes a little behind Beauty Queen, I guess that BQ has better genetics. I will think about taking clone from BQ if I will think of veg space and equipment ;)

JB. He is so tiny. He's not even thinking to start growing :) Will be a interesting experiment when going to bloom. And this is a good lesson for me, that it's not a good idea to introduce seedling when other plants are 5+ weeks in:}

:Namaste::thanks:

i posted a responce yesterday but i cant see it today:/ so lets repeat. ph is on the high side aim for 5.8 to 6.0 do res change every week if you can no more than 2 weeks old water or you gonna see some bad results :) add 10ml/10litre 3% peroxide every week to be on the safe side for root rot and for optimal root development. from he looks of your plants i estimate you can stay at half nutrient dose for 2 more weeks. your roots color seems normal. dont worry about the bushing of the roots its just the begining see here

your plants seem very healthy although i wouldnt suggest you use the same seeds ever again something is of about this seeds i don't know where you got them but seedlings like that does not come from healthy seeds. your jb will be a cola just a single colla theres no time for it to develop side growth so i think it will shoot straight up if the light doesn't get blocked from the other plants. good job root destro your plants look strong and healthy.

Hey Simoto!

Thank you for your insights. Yeah those seeds were a product of rushing into gardening. I took those from my friend he had those from his grows I guess JB was just a random bag seed, and others are seeds of hermaphroditis. At least thats what I'm thinking.. Wel maybe one day when I'm not broke anymore, I'm going to get me good seeds :)

Did the rez change yesterday. Added 100ml h2o2 to ±100 l of the system. Fed them 1/2 strength nutes as you have recommended :)
Also switched JB with Beauty Queen, as JB's bucket seemed to greater water level than in the other buckets, and it was too much for the little fella, but will be just fine for Queen.

I still can't figure out why my pH is raising back up. It doesn't matter how I do it.. Lets say I filled my bath with water for the res change one day before I actually change to let chlorine to evaporate. After 1 day I add some acid to lower pH from 7.5 ( tap waters ph ) to 5.6. I take 5.6 water to the system (We did complete wipeout of the system) After the water runs in the system for one hour or so, it goes back to 7.5 like it would be tap water again.. I can't understand this phenomena. Theres also another thing. If I keep adding more pH Down, at some point it breaks and needs only one drop of the acid for the whole system to drop like crazy.. I can't explain it very well, and I\m sorry for it :]
It's pretty much the game for me, takes me 1 to 2 days to stabilize it, but then again I raise my EC by doing so, and I dont like it. I have to think of other solution. Buying distilled water is not an option, rain water also.

But then again, thank you for insights and your help. Appreciate this man

basically that was the reason i use rain water is there a posibility your tap water to be heavy meaning to much calcium in it? i had the same problem and the same behavior when i added tap water for a week i didnt have anymore rain water and added tap water to the motherplants thats when all my problems begun and that was the reason i didnt do res change on my clones for 3 weeks until i got some rain water it seems that the further the ph of the water is from your target the more problems you gonna have my rain water is around 6 and it drops very easy my tap water is around 7.5 and man its deficult to get it down i add increments of sulfuric acid than when you think you close you add another increment and boom it drops way below your target.. or we are doing it wrong or there is something in the water i give more odds to the second. i was hassle free until i added the tap water on that week from there i was strugling thats why i will never use tap water ever again it was just 1 week with tap water and it gave me headeche till the end. i sugest you find a source of rain water i use it just as it is coming down from the roof no filters nothing i just remove any leaves that maybe come down from upthere. i have a 200liter container that i gather it. ph issues are a pain thats why i chose the nutes i use and the rain water the closest it is at your target without adding anything the better your chances of keeping it stable. i am gonna do some reaserch see if i find anything for you.

Yeah, You understood me completely right, and seems that the problem is tap water. Hmm I may need to find some space to install at least some filters. But in my flat there is no space even to install filters. Bathroom no space at all. Kitchen.. maybe, but I cant fill up my buckets in kitchen.. I will have to fight with tap water till the end :) Distiller would be the choice, I could also do DIY distiller, but it will take one week to prepare a rez change.. too much work. Buying distilled water will cost me too much. Should I start thinking about planting them into soil ? But then, my whole idea will blow away, and yet again, extra cost.

forget about planting them in soil there is just no point hydro is better in every way exept stability. forget distilery to... only the electricity cost will kill you. distiled water is way to expensive for a setup like yours. if you already have a ceramic filter of some sort i highly suggest you use it. the only other option i see is that you boil some water to see how much white solids you get to determine if it has to much calcium in it and then treat it us necessary. calcium neutralizes acids but the reaction at low concentration acid is slow so i suspect you got to much calcium in your water it makes sense. a boil test will tell, try it

Yeah, my water is full of calcium :) I have calcium buildup in kettle after 2 times i boil the water.. I mean, i didnt run the test now, but it's visible from the very first day. Does Brita filter work ? I've seen some people using it, so maybe that would help a little, otherwise im gonna raise my funds for filters at least to get rid of some calcium. Another thing I could use is, spring water.. I have spring water running 1km away from me, maybe that would work.. Im gonna give that water a try.. Its just inconvenient to bring water into my flat, since someone could sneak on me. But its worth a try, cause when I was at spring waters, I have tested the water it was 7.0 pH and 0.1 EC or even 0.0. Sounds like idea right ?:) I will see what i can do about it :)
