Hello love the site, first time inside grower, first time hydro. Actually I am doing both leaning so far to the soil, hydro seems to be a lot more work, and water changes, I am 4 years from retirement. I have 2 torn rotator cuffs one has had surgery and one waiting. I have been growing for years mostly outside. But thieves have always been my problem, so now it all indoor from here on out, my biggest concern is smell I have six inch inline fan with a carbon filter. But when I enter my home I can smell it, I am only 6 weeks in, and a little concerned when I start flowering. Looking forward to using this site to keep me going in the right direction ,

Welcome to the 420 community Mrhaneyneohio

Are you venting outside with your exhaust? Also are you pulling air through the carbon filter or are you pushing air through the carbon filter?
I am pulling the air through my filter and venting the air outside and the only time I have any issues with the smell is when I leave the door open on my tent open.
