you did end up topping right? Those branches that are shooting out above the fan leaves you can train them to grow horizontally rather then vertically. Doing so, it will work on it’s secondary branches. Giving you more main colas.

This was my blue Cookie, (using it as an example) yeah it had a bit of a deficiency at that time, she ended up pulling through

Mmm look at that beauty...

Ok so you want me to train them out more ? Will it not be overcrowded?

Haha no sorry I was more referring for future grows, you’ve got really big internode spacing on your plant, so doing that with this one won’t be feasible. I was more or less talking about the top branches to keep them low, allowing the other branches to catch up to the top canopy. I’m sorry I feel like Ive explained that very badly to begin with.

Do you have any idea on when your going to flip to flower? Those aren’t autos right?

Not at all .well they have been growing for nearly 2 months . When would be a good time ?

At least wait till the two month mark, and any time after that will do. I’m worried about the stretch she will do in flower. Once those lights are flipped to 12/12 you must not ruin their 12 hours of darkness and 12 hours of light. If you have any light leaks going into your tent now would be the time to fix that. Any light that gets leaked in, while their in the dark could lead to the plant flipping back to veg, and or produce hermie plants.

Now it gets exciting! You should start thinking about giving your self another small area for veging. In a complete different area or in an enclosed box of some sort that won’t interrupt the darkness on the flower box.

I have my small box I built for underneath my tent I use for veg. It’s only 18” tall I think and 32” wide and 2’ deep. I built an enclosed lid for it. Drilled some holes in the side to allow some air to enter the box. Then I tapped black garbage back on the outside of my tent to help black out any light to enter the tent. It’s worked great so far :thumb: All I have is a small 2’ t5 light for it. You could use your old ones for your veg tent and splurge a lil on a really nice light for the flower tent, hint hint nudge nudge lol :high-five:

Hi Dk and welcome to 420. I read the progress of your journal and you're looking good. You're in good hands with Back and he's taking good care of you.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing your buds.

Cheers!

Thanks guys ! So I'm really worried about how I will maintain heat in flower . Temps are now cold as we in the last stretch of winter . Maybe I shoul give it till August? When it warms up a bit ? . I had this idea of using a light to generate heat much like a ball warmer for squash. So if I can use that to generate heat and have a duct maybe exhaust it into my tent without light .

So shorty turned out to be a female by the looks of it . Here is a picture . The one in soil I'm still a bit uncertain as it has one that looks to be going they way of female. I see a small (hair) pistil sticking out of it like not even half a mm. Will be checking that thing like Sherlock Holmes haha. Here is a photo

41 days in and 15 days to go till the 2 month mark .

Heat source idea #1

So my fellow growers . Would this option be a good idea ? Feel free to discuss away . I'm open to any opinions.
