Hello all fellow growers!! I am new to this site and excited to be here. I have had a small grow for a few years now but am really looking forward to producing a higher quality product. After visiting a few different sites, this seems like the right place to share some ideas and knowledge. I look forward to becoming an active member of this group. Thanks!

Where are you (roughly in the world) and what sort of styles are you growing? Indoor/outdoor/greenhouse soil/SIP/hydro…:

There’s a ton of people with more specialisms here all good folk. Let us know and we can nudge you in the right directions! Or maybe you stumble on something totally new and think “Wait! That might work for me!”

I live in Flagstaff so all is legal which is nice. I grow indoors using soil and led lights. I’ve built a pretty cool grow closet that I will post on here one of these days. I mainly grow to supply myself with clean, quality herb with a bit of extra going to some close friends. I need to get better at trimming/shaping to create larger buds and higher yields!! I will start a grow journal on my next round as I’m incredibly OCD and love keeping track of details. All help going forward is appreciated.

I’m English living in Thailand but that follows?

I did a quick search - that looks like a beautiful part of the world. Mountains, cable cars and a space museum?

With my Thai wife and kid later in the year we're hoping to be in CA and NV - think I’ve got that right! First for holiday second for weed expo thing for a day or so. We basically circle the globe on that itinerary so AZ might be a stretch too far!

And yep - live the dream mate. Grow plenty for yourself and to share and sell a little to offset costs.

I’m going to do some crazy stuff with a steel pallet and 18 Solo Cups next week for just that!

Yup, Arizona. I’m only a few hours from Vegas if that’s where you’re headed for the weed expo. It would be cool to hook up
 
My parents grew up in Herree-ford West Midlands.Beef, Cider and SAS!

I’m more Sussex but London as well. Parents always had an apartment there and the. uni and work until 2004 I lived there. 19 years ago. SA and now Thailand

Where in Cali?

Sounds posh there mate, I grew up in Telford and still consider myself a proud Salopian😉, live in the Fresno area now, right in the center of Cali. Have you met any Hmong farmers in Thailand? My wife's family is Hmong, originally from Laos, then were at a refugee camp in Thailand before coming to the States
 
No - my wife is from the deep south a about as far from the Laos birdsr as you can get. Here the birder country economic migrants oretty much 100% Burmese. Cambodia and Vietnam I know a bit but not Laos yet. Apparently they don’t even bother with a legalisation law because its just huh?

I try to explain the shots us Brits (I'm half) take at each other over accents. When I still had mine it was halfway between Blackwater and brummie, so nothing posh here😉
