New to the Game! First Time

I'll be removing him when I get home then :( I won't be destroying him tho as his a auto flower bubblelishs ;) 35 for 5 seeds I rekon I'll still get some bid of him as no signs of nuts any where eles other than those 2 branches .. Thanks for all your theory's tho lads sorry I can't say much more at the mo as I'm on my phone :(

If you plan to remove the sacs and keep the plant always spray everything with water. I dip my fingers in water, spray water on the nuts themselves, then remove the sacks tightly between 2 fingers (to attempt and "trap" it), then release with my fingers submerged all the way in a glass of water. Water will kill any mature pollen.

If you can isolate him/her you can always make some seeds :thumb:

Good info ismokes, never knew that, thanks :)

While I'm in no way trying to argue with your experience, I have a hard time believing water kills pollen. I agree that it may encapsulate it, or "trap" it as you might say, which would simply contain its surface area. If what you are saying is true, how then would it be possible for the thousands of years of natural adaptation and evolution of the cannabis species in high altitude mountain ranges? In my opinion, if this were true, flowering males would have been wiped out centuries ago, and the cannabis species would have gone extinct.

Aaah yes Relaxed, keeping it contained is the one as plants get rained on all the time and that wouldn't be good for them would it.

Thank you JBC for the reps. There's you, TG, and Leester, I need to get to your journals. I've been a bit busy these days with life and the grow. Both got busy at the same time. My first batch of cuttings rooted and will be planted tomorrow. I will have my second batch ready in 2 weeks and start a new journal :grinjoint:.

I'm in no way experienced bro. I've only been growing for a few months LOL. I used the word kill to make things simple. It actually "deactivates" it if you may. And male plants in nature produce millions of pollen cells over a long duration of time. We're talking about instant deactivation while you remove it from your tent. I'm not sure what it does to the pollen cells exactly, I just know the pollen won't be able to fertilise a female.

It needs to constantly rain, heavy constant rain, over all the cannabis males in the world during their entire flowering period for a plausible extinction scenario.

Get it started iSmokes!! I know a lot of people have a one track mind when it comes to bud porn but some of us also like the foreplay mate

Hard to eradicate a plant grown all over the world. Even thousands of years ago. Nuclear war I suppose but doubtful...Maybe asteroid hitting the Earth? Not saying it couldn't happen but the DEA seems to be spending alot of cash and they cant eradicate it! I know I know... different scenario! ISmokes you seem to have a good solution. Sure it may not be fool proof but it seems to be better from what I have researched.

Yeah water does break down the effectiveness of pollen. It does not necessarily kill it. It definitely prevents it from flying though.:)

he is now in here on 16/6 250watt hps... with a stronger breeze / light cyclical... all so 3 bubble seedling all same age wouldn't of thought it tho looking at the small one [the runt] :)
